Cal Poly Mustangs

A 14-19 Cal Poly side returned 10.92 units to anyone who backed the Mustangs in all 30 priced games of 2025-26; 16 Division I teams did better. On their travels the figure was 10.52 in 16.

Fourteen wins, 10.92 units

Cal Poly were underdogs in 26 games, more than all but 23 Division I teams, and the 26 underdog moneylines made 10.49 units. They won nine of them, three at long odds on the road: 92-85 at Utah at +800 on 20 November, 86-75 at Hawai’i at +550 on 19 February and 73-71 at Seattle U at +425.

On the road the 16 priced games made 10.52 units, a total only 12 teams in the country beat. Home was 2.4 units up over 12.

Two months made it

November (4-5) returned 8.25 units and February (4-3, five covers in seven) 6.55. December gave some back: 1-4, 3.05 units down.

Against the spread

Seventeen covers in 31, 54.8%, 14 of them as underdogs from 26 chances. Favored only five times, they won three.

High-scoring games

The Mustangs scored 82.12 a game and allowed 85.0; just four Division I teams gave up more. Even so the total split 17 overs to 13 unders, short of a lean.

Conference repeats

Cal State Bakersfield lost both meetings and Cal Poly covered both. Cal State Northridge won both, though Cal Poly covered each time. UC San Diego, met three times, won two, the last in the Big West first round.
