Favored nearly every time

Hawai’i was favored 24 times, won 19 and covered 11. Of its four games as an underdog, the first was the season opener, 59-60 at Oregon getting 11.5, a cover. Big West opponents and March

UC Irvine was met three times. Hawai’i won 67-66 at home laying 4.5, lost 76-87 away, and won the Big West final 71-64 at even money, its only priced win as an underdog. Cal State Fullerton lost all three meetings, including the semifinal 63-78. Arkansas ended the season in the NCAA tournament’s first round.
