Favored, it flipped: five wins in seven, two covers. Venue barely moved the spread record, 8-6 at home and 8-8 on the road.

The over

The moneyline, and one night in Hawai’i

Backing the Beach to win in every priced game lost 8.08 units over 28. At home the bet lost 6.94 over 13; only 13 teams lost more at home. February was 1-6, 5.38 units gone, three of the six losses by four points or fewer.

The season’s final game paid more than any other. On 7 March they won 84-75 at Hawai’i at +800, getting 14.5. That single result made March 7.0 units up.

Big West opponents

Cal State Fullerton, UC Davis and UC Irvine all won both meetings; Irvine covered one and the other two covered both. UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara did too, but Long Beach covered all four of those games. Cal State Northridge split, and the Beach covered both, the win 87-80 on the road at +225.
