Memphis Tigers

College Basketball

The Tigers covered two of 13 road spreads in 2025-26, tied for the worst away rate in Division I. At home they covered 10 of 16, which makes the venue the first question on any Memphis bet.

Home and road were two different teams

Away from home Memphis covered 2 of 13, 15.4%. Exactly one other Division I team matched that rate and nobody went lower. The two road covers were an 83-77 loss at Ole Miss as 9.5-point underdogs in November and a 90-80 win at UAB in February. At home the same side covered 10 of 16, 62.5%, and only 64 teams did better there.

Straight up it was 10-6 at home and 3-10 away.

The season against the number

Overall the Tigers covered 14 of 32, 43.8%. Favored 18 times, they won 11 and covered seven; as underdogs they covered 7 of 14 but won only two, the better of them 78-71 over Baylor at +136. The big home numbers did get paid: 20.5-point spreads against Alabama State and UTSA were both covered, 88-67 and 95-69.
