The Aztecs lost twice at home in 2025-26 and still covered only 7 of 15 home spreads. One of the two defeats came at -2500.

Home: wins, not covers

San Diego State won 14 of 16 home games. Against the spread they were 7-8 there, and the 15 priced home games made 0.96 units. The two home defeats were Troy, 108-107 on 18 November with the Aztecs at -2500 and favored by 14.5, and Grand Canyon, 73-63 on 17 February at -395.

Grand Canyon won both meetings and San Diego State covered neither. New Mexico lost two of three, but the Aztecs failed to cover all three. Utah State won two of three, the last 73-62 in the Mountain West final; the one San Diego State win, 89-72 at home, came as a 1.5-point underdog. Nevada lost both meetings, both covered.
