Only one team had a lower winning percentage, and only one scored fewer than Air Force’s 61.53 points a game.

Mountain West opponents and the total

Nevada beat Air Force three times, the last 80-45 in the Mountain West first round. New Mexico won its two by 42 and 37. Wyoming also won twice, yet Air Force covered both. Eighteen of 32 totals went over, with the Falcons allowing 79.88 a game.
