Colorado State Rams

The Rams turned their 2025-26 season in February: 7-0 that month, eight straight wins in all, three of them at plus money, including 82-74 at New Mexico at +320. Before it, January had gone 3-6.

Eight in a row

Colorado State won every game from 7 February to 4 March. Three of the eight came as underdogs: 91-86 at UNLV at +130, 83-74 at home over San Diego State at +136, and 82-74 at New Mexico at +320. February alone was 7-0, five covers in seven, 3.99 units.

Before that

January was 3-6 and cost 3.49 units, with road losses at Fresno State at -198, Boise State at +200, San Diego State at +350, a 50-73 defeat, and Wyoming, 57-68 on 31 January, the last game before the streak began. The shortest-priced loss of the season came earlier, at home in November: 81-83 to Denver at -2000.

The full season

The Rams went 21-12 and covered 18 of 32, 56.3%. One unit on each of the 30 priced games made 1.27 units: 2.69 on the 11 priced road games, minus 1.46 at home. Getting points they went 5-8 straight up and covered 7 of 13; laying them, 15-4 and 11 covers in 19.

The opponents

Fresno State was met three times and lost two, but Colorado State failed to cover all three, including the 67-63 Mountain West first-round win at -7.5. San Diego State won two of three, the last 71-62 in the quarterfinal. Air Force and UNLV lost both meetings, Colorado State covering all four, while Boise State won both.

After the season

The Rams were in the NIT after the Mountain West quarterfinal loss, and it ended at the first step: 64-69 at home to Saint Joseph’s.
