Home, and the road

Nevada went 22-12, and the record splits sharply by venue. At home the Wolf Pack were 15-2 and covered 10 of 17. Away they were 4-8 and covered half. The moneyline over the whole season came to 0.32 units down across 32 priced games: everything made at home was given back on the road.

San José State, both ways

The same opponent shows the split. Nevada beat San José State 87-54 at home at -2100, then lost 87-71 at San José State four weeks later at -700. The regular season ended the same way: road losses at UNLV, 85-83 on 28 February, and at Wyoming, 83-73 on 3 March, both with Nevada at -125.

Getting points

As underdogs the Wolf Pack covered 9 of 13 and won six; Nevada’s rate getting points trailed 33 teams and tied one. As favorites they won 16 of 21 and covered ten. December was the clean month, 5-0 and 4.29 units.
