Home was better

At home Niagara went 6-7 straight up, covered 7 of 12 and made 1.0 unit on the moneyline. The two best prices came there late in the season: 70-68 over Iona at +164 and 78-76 over Quinnipiac at +310. Quinnipiac, met twice, produced two covers and 2.1 units.

The spread overall

Thirteen covers in 29, 44.8%. As underdogs, which they were 26 times, they covered 11; only 23 teams were underdogs more often. In January the losses at Fairfield and Sacred Heart, by one point each with 10.5 and 9.5 points in hand, both covered.

December was the floor, 1-4 with 4.0 units lost. January was 2-7 straight up yet 5-4 against the number.

Three times favored

Niagara laid points only three times: wins over Delaware State and Canisius, both covered, and a 67-62 loss at Rider at -122. The moneyline on those three games finished 0.12 units up.

The total

Fifteen unders and 14 overs, low scoring and all: a single game apart, so the total offered no Niagara lean.
