UCF Knights

The Knights won nine games as underdogs in 2025-26, one of them at BYU at +700. Backing UCF to win every game returned 13.01 units, and only 13 Division I teams made more.

Where UCF paid

The moneyline is the UCF story. Every one of the 32 games carried a price, and one unit on the Knights each time came back 13.01 units ahead. All of it, and a little more, came with UCF getting points: 17 games as underdogs, nine wins, 13.25 units. Only twelve teams made more backing themselves as underdogs.

The big ones were on the road. UCF won 97-84 at BYU on 24 February at +700 and 86-74 at Texas A&M in November at +450. Away from home the moneyline made 10.21 units in ten games, while the Knights went 5-5.

Not the spread

Here is the catch. Against the spread UCF was 15-16. As favorites they won 12 of 15 and covered just five. As favorites the moneyline lost 0.24 units; the profit was all in the underdog games.

How the year went

A run of 11 straight wins began on 11 November and lasted until 3 January; November alone was 7-1 for 4.91 units. February was 3-4 and still made 4.8 units, with the BYU win alone worth seven. It ended badly: Baylor won 87-86 at UCF on 28 February with the Knights at -125, and in March, a 1-3 month, Oklahoma State won 111-104 there at -425. In the Big 12 tournament UCF edged Cincinnati 66-65 and lost 81-59 to Arizona; UCLA ended the season in the NCAA first round.

Oklahoma State and West Virginia each beat UCF twice, and UCF covered none of those four.

The total

Nineteen unders, 13 overs, in games where UCF scored 80.97 a night and allowed 78.47. UCF’s under rate trailed 55 Division I teams; four shared it.
