TCU Horned Frogs

Getting points, the Horned Frogs covered 8 of 11 in 2025-26 and won five outright; one unit on each of the 10 priced underdog games made 7.3 units, a figure only 26 Division I teams beat. Laying points, they covered 10 of 22.

Better as the underdog

TCU went 5-6 as an underdog and covered 72.7% of those spreads; 24 Division I teams had a better cover rate as dogs. The upsets came at real prices: 84-80 over Florida on a neutral floor at +550, 73-65 at Texas Tech at +330 and 62-55 at home to Iowa State at +270.

Worse as the favorite

Favored 22 times, the Frogs won 17 and covered 10. Several home wins fell short of big numbers: 78-65 over Lamar at -18.5, 72-53 over Oral Roberts at -23.5, 84-82 over Kansas State at -9.5. The season opened with a 78-74 home loss to New Orleans as a heavy favorite. One unit on each of the 20 priced favorite games finished 0.21 down.

The whole season

TCU finished 22-11 and covered 18 of 33, 54.5%. Every priced game backed for one unit, 30 in all, returned 7.09; only 28 teams did better. Away from home the Frogs covered 7 of 10. At home they were 14-5 but covered 9 of 19, and the 17 priced home games made just 0.39 units; two home wins, over Florida A&M and Jackson State, carried no moneyline at all. From 21 February they covered five games in a row.

Big 12 opponents

Oklahoma State lost all three meetings, the last in the Big 12 tournament, though TCU covered only one. Baylor lost both, with two covers. Kansas won both, 104-100 in January and 78-73 in the Big 12 quarterfinal.

The total

Eighteen unders and 15 overs: no lean worth a bet. In the NCAA tournament TCU beat Ohio State 66-64 and lost 81-58 to Duke.
