The Lancers won all 15 home games in 2025-26 and covered only seven of them. Laying ten points or more at home, California Baptist covered once in eight.

Unbeaten at home, not on the number

Here is the gap to watch. California Baptist went 15-0 at home, and one unit on the Lancers in every home game made 3.13 units. Against the spread the same games went 7-8. The bigger the home line, the less it held: laying ten or more, the Lancers covered one of eight, winning 58-55 over Southern Utah at -14.5 and 56-55 over Tarleton State at -10.5.

Twenty-one of 33 totals stayed under; 29 teams went under more often, one at the same rate. California Baptist allowed 67.58 points a game, and 35 teams allowed fewer, with one level.

How it finished

The Lancers covered their last six games, all wins. That closing run took in the WAC tournament: 86-72 over Utah Tech and 63-61 over Utah Valley in the final at +130. Utah Tech and Utah Valley were each met four times; Cal Baptist covered three of four against both. March was 4-0 and 2.15 units. The NCAA tournament lasted one game, a defeat by Kansas.
