Troy Trojans

The Trojans’ 2025-26 season paid from the underdog side: eight priced games, five wins, 13.94 units, a return only 11 Division I teams beat. Eleven of those units came on one November night, 108-107 at San Diego State at +1100.

The November road trip

Troy opened with road wins at Kent State (+140) and Furman (+115), then won 108-107 at San Diego State as a 14.5-point underdog at +1100. Two nights later it lost 106-107 at USC getting 18.5. November finished 5-4 and 9.58 units up. An 86-85 win at UAB at +215 followed in December.

All 16 priced road games together made 10.15 units, and only 14 teams did better away. One unit on every priced game, 31 of them, also made 10.15.

Short prices that missed

Favorites were the other side of the ledger: 15-8 straight up and 12 covers in 23, but the 23 priced favorite moneylines lost 3.79 units; only 36 teams lost more there. The worst: 89-93 at home to West Georgia at -2100, 64-73 to James Madison at -500, and 44-66 to App State at -325 the next night.

January and the finish

January went 6-3 with six covers. After two late losses to Southern Miss and South Alabama, Troy won its last four, including the Sun Belt semifinal over Southern Miss, 78-70, and the final over Georgia Southern, 77-61, both covers.

Southern Miss was the most-met opponent: three games, two Troy wins and two covers, the loss a 65-69 road defeat at -218 in February.

In the NCAA tournament Nebraska won the first-round game 76-47.

Home and the total

At home Troy went 10-3, covered 7 of 11, and the 11 priced home moneylines finished 0.14 up: almost all of the profit was made away. Seventeen unders and 14 overs; 110 teams went under more often, so the total offers no lean.
