Home was the opposite

At home the Hokies won 14 of 17 and covered only eight. As home favorites they kept winning without paying: Elon 82-81 at -12.5, Georgia Tech 71-65 at -9.5, Boston College 72-63 at -11.5. The worst home result was a 69-92 loss to Florida State at -198.

December was the clean month: 6-0, five covers in six, 4.10 units won, capped by a 95-85 home win over Virginia at +210. March went 1-2 and lost 1.88 units, ending with an 89-95 ACC tournament loss to Wake Forest, who beat the Hokies in two of three meetings.
