When it was favored, rarely, it was even better against the line: five covers in six, a rate only six Division I teams topped.

February

The month to remember is February: 6-2 straight up, six covers, 11.65 units. It included the season’s longest price, 77-74 at Wright State at +500 on 12 February, and 95-89 at Oakland at +295. Earlier, on 29 December, a 73-68 win at Youngstown State had paid +400.

It needed that. November had gone 2-6 and cost 6.0 units: five road defeats, all at +400 or longer, and a home loss as a -125 favorite to Eastern Michigan. Neither November win had a moneyline.
