December’s prices
December was the month the moneyline paid: 5-1 and 10.1 units. A 67-66 win at UNC Wilmington on 20 December at +850 was 8.5 of those, and two neutral-site wins at +130, over North Carolina A&T and Hampton, added the rest. As underdogs over the season Howard won 4 of 9 and the seven priced games returned 7.1.

The favorite side lost 1.66 units over 20 games, mostly in two results: 78-77 at home to Morgan State on 24 January at -1450, and 58-57 at South Carolina State at -395. Howard beat both later in the season, Morgan State 84-59 away and South Carolina State twice by 17 or more.
