Duke and Florida are the favorites to win the 2027 men’s national title at +600 each, with UConn third at +1100. Michigan, the 2026 champion, is 12th on the board at +2700.
Those are DraftKings prices on ESPN’s 2026-27 futures board, read on September 24, 2026. No price to reach the Final Four is posted yet, so the title market is the one to read, and it lists 100 teams.

At +600, Duke and Florida each carry about a 14% implied chance, margin included. The whole board adds up to about 146%. That is a heavy margin, so every price on this board pays less than a fair one would.
This is the 2026-27 market and not last season’s. ESPN files it under the season it labels 2026-27, and it prices Michigan at +2700 after Michigan had already won the 2026 title on April 6. A settled market would not carry a price on its winner.
The favorites
Florida won the 2025 title, beating Houston 65-63 in San Antonio. Its 2026-27 season starts against Miami in Tampa on November 2 at 6 p.m. ET. Duke opens the same day against Army at Cameron Indoor Stadium, with the time still to be set. Duke is +600 even after losing Cameron Boozer, the third pick in the 2026 NBA draft.
UConn won the title in 2023 and 2024 and lost the 2026 final to Michigan, so it has played in three of the last four championship games. Rosters turn over every spring, so +1100 is a bet on the program more than on last season’s team.
Illinois reached the 2026 Final Four and lost its semifinal to UConn 71-62. At +1400 it is the fourth choice. Arizona, the other losing semifinalist, fell 91-73 to Michigan and sits at +2300.
Our read
Duke and Florida at +600 each are priced as if the season had already sorted them out, and it has not started. UConn at +1100 is the value on this board: three title games in four years, and it pays almost twice what the favorites do. For a longer price, Michigan at +2700 is the defending champion, priced behind 11 teams after Morez Johnson Jr. went ninth in the 2026 draft.

The 2027 Final Four schedule
ESPN’s 2026-27 calendar runs the men’s postseason from March 16 to April 6, 2027. The Final Four games are not on its schedule yet. We will add the site, the dates and the semifinal odds once they are posted.
The season itself starts on November 1, when Notre Dame and Villanova play in Rome at 9:30 a.m. ET in the Eternal City Tip-Off. ESPN lists 125 Division I men’s games the next day, November 2.
How the 2026 Final Four went
The 2026 Final Four was played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. On April 4, UConn beat Illinois 71-62 and Michigan beat Arizona 91-73.
Michigan then beat UConn 69-63 on April 6 and finished 37-3. Elliot Cadeau led Michigan with 19 points and Morez Johnson Jr. had 10 rebounds. For UConn, Alex Karaban scored 17 and Tarris Reed Jr. had 14 rebounds.
The betting result was different from the scoreboard. DraftKings had Michigan -6.5 with a total of 146.5, as ESPN shows the line. Michigan won by six, so UConn covered, and the teams scored 132 points, well under the total.

The 2020 tournament was not played. In the 12 finals since 2014, only UConn (2014, 2023, 2024) and Villanova (2016, 2018) won more than once. All three teams at the top of the 2027 board have won a title in that span: Duke in 2015, UConn three times and Florida in 2025.
