There are three Premier League matches on Saturday, October 31st 2020.
All three matches have big favorites, but could these be some Halloween surprises? We’ve seen more than a few surprising Premier League results already in 2020, so it wouldn’t be shocking.
Who would have ever predicted Everton (1st) and Aston Villa (3rd) to be top three on the table?
It’s still early in the season, though and there are a lot of matches still to play.

Let’s get right into my match predictions for these three Premier League matches on Halloween.
Sheffield United vs. Manchester City Predictions
Kick-Off: Saturday, October 31st 2020 at 8:30 AM ET
Where: Bramall Lane in Sheffield
1×2 Odds: Sheffield United (+880) / Manchester City (-379) / Draw (+334)
Game Total: Over 3.5 Goals (+115) vs. Under 3.5 Goals (-135)
Sheffield United (0-1-5 / 1 Point) are 19th on the table with a –6 goal differential (3 GF / 9 GA). City (2-2-1 / 8 Points) are 13th on the table and have had some of their own struggles to begin the season.
The problem has been upfront. City are averaging 1.60 GPG, much lower than we’re used to.
Phil Foden (2) and Raheem Sterling (2) are the only two players with multiple goals this season.
Last season, City defeated Sheffield United 2-0 at home and 1-0 away. I expect another low-scoring match and the under 3.5 goals is my best bet in the first match on Halloween.

Burnley vs. Chelsea Predictions
Kick-Off: Saturday, October 31st 2020 at 11:00 AM ET
Where: Turf Moor in Burnley
1×2 Odds: Burnley (+440) / Chelsea (-211) / Draw (+260)
Game Total: Over 3 Goals (+107) vs. Under 3 Goals (-127)
Burnley (0-1-3 / 1 Point) host Chelsea (2-3-1 / 9 Points) in the second match on Halloween.
Since 2018, Chelsea are 5-1-0 against Burnley, including a perfect 3-0 away record. Chelsea have had no problems scoring (13), but they’ve beat up on weaker opposition.
Despite averaging 2.17 GPG, they’ve been held scoreless in two matches already. Burnley have only scored three goals all season, so it’s likely Chelsea will be able to keep a clean sheet.
Burnley host Tottenham tomorrow (Monday) prior to the Chelsea match this weekend.
With that being said, I’ll be betting on Chelsea –1 (-118) in the Asian Handicap betting market.

2020/21 Premier League Outright Winner and Teams to Be Relegated Picks
Liverpool vs. West Ham Predictions
Kick-Off: Saturday, October 31st 2020 at 1:30 PM ET
Where: Anfield in Liverpool
1×2 Odds: Liverpool (-284) / West Ham (+528) / Draw (+334)
Game Total: Over 3 Goals (-134) vs. Under 3 Goals (+114)
Liverpool (4-1-1 / 13 Points) are 2nd on the table with a +1 goal differential. They lead the league in scoring (15), but they’ve conceded 14 goals, which is tied for last place with Fulham.
Liverpool are lucky to be sitting 2nd on the table with the defensive problems. West Ham (2-2-2 / 8 Points) are 12th on the table, but they’ve struggled against Liverpool in recent years.
Since 2017, Liverpool are 6-1-0 when playing in the Premier League against West Ham.
Five of those six wins were by multiple goals. However, West Ham have scored 12 goals already this season and I expect them to be able to cash in one or two goals at Anfield.
I’ll betting on over 3 goals, as this total should have at least been set at 3.5 goals.
