Pick the Seahawks -3 – Chiefs vs Seahawks prediction, odds and best picks

Our Chiefs vs Seahawks prediction: Seattle by 5.13 against a line of 3. Take the Seahawks -3.

Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks, Sunday 25 October 2026, 8:20 pm ET. The median of 11 books, read on 24 October 2026 at 00:51 UTC, has Seattle -3. Our number is 5.13. That 2.13-point gap is the argument, and my threshold is 2.

Chiefs vs Seahawks odds and what they say

Seven of the 11 books have Kansas City +3, three have +2.5 and one has +2. Prices on the Kansas City side run from -118 to +107. The earliest quote in the line history, from 20 October at 01:10 UTC, had Kansas City +1.5. Reads on 24 October at 00:10 UTC show +2, +3 and +2.5.

The moneyline median is Seattle -147 and Kansas City +125. A book builds in a margin, the extra that makes the two prices add to more than 100%. With the margin taken out, those prices give Seattle a 57.2% chance to win and Kansas City 42.8%. The moneyline is context here. The method stakes the spread.

How 5.13 is reached

The method for the side, in one clause: half the gap between the two teams’ points per game differentials, plus 2.5 points for home field. In the 2025 regular season Seattle outscored opponents by 11.24 points a game. Kansas City was +2.0 a game. That makes Seattle a 7.12-point favourite, an edge of 4.12 against -3.

This season points the other way, and I say so plainly. Seattle is +4.33 a game over six games and Kansas City +11.4 over five. On those games alone, Kansas City is favoured by 1.03.

The rule asks for a gap of at least 2 points on 2025 and on a blend that weights each season by games played, both on the same side. The blend is Seattle by 5.13, an edge of 2.13. Both numbers clear the threshold: 4.12 and 2.13. In my view the 2026 games are the reason the blend sits at 5.13 and not 7.12. Below 2 I pass, because a number built on season rates carries more error than that.

This season so far

None of what follows is in our number except through points scored and allowed. Kansas City is 5-0, with 140 points scored and 83 allowed. It beat Denver 31-10 and Indianapolis 33-30 at home, won 24-10 at Miami and 30-27 at Las Vegas, then beat the Chargers 22-6 at home in Week 6. Two of the five wins were by three points. In 2025 the Chiefs were 1-9 in one-score games.

Seattle is 3-3, with 148 scored and 122 allowed. The wins came against New England 13-10 and the Chargers 30-23 at home, and 31-7 at Arizona. The losses: 33-31 at Washington, 32-29 at home to San Francisco and 17-14 at Denver in Week 6. The method reads Kansas City’s 5-0 as +11.4 a game and nothing more.

Seattle has closed at -3 at home twice this season. Week 1 against New England was a push, and San Francisco covered in Week 5. Two games prove nothing.

Seattle at home, Kansas City on the road

The method uses whole-season differentials and a flat 2.5 for home field. The venue splits sit outside it. In 2025 Seattle went 6-2 at home, scoring 30.6 a game and allowing 20.2. Kansas City went 1-6 on the road, scoring 19.9 and allowing 23.0. These splits leave out neutral-site games.

The halves left out run the other way for Seattle. The Seahawks went 8-1 on the road in 2025, scoring 26.4 and allowing 14.4. Kansas City went 5-4 at home, scoring 22.4 and allowing 15.6.

This season Kansas City is 2-0 on the road and Seattle 2-1 at home. Two and three games are not rates.

The season around it

Seattle went 14-3 in 2025, with a points differential of +191, a 4-2 record in the NFC West and a 6-3 record in one-score games. In the playoffs it beat San Francisco 41-6 and the Rams 31-27 at home, then New England 29-13 in the Super Bowl at Santa Clara. The median total in Seahawks games was 46.

Kansas City went 6-11 with a differential of +34, 1-5 in the AFC West, and missed the playoffs. The median total in Chiefs games was 37. The two teams have not met in the 2025 or 2026 seasons, so no game between them is inside our number.

Pick: Seahawks -3

The edge is 2.13 on the blend and 4.12 on 2025, against a threshold of 2. Seattle -3 is the median line across 11 books, read on 24 October at 00:51 UTC. The three books with Kansas City +2.5 offer Seattle -2.5, the same bet at a better number. The earliest quote in the line history, on 20 October, was Kansas City +1.5.

What kills the bet

The price first. Seattle is a bet at -3.13 or shorter, so -3 and -2.5 qualify and -3.5 does not. Kansas City becomes the bet only at +9.12 or more, far from any line posted.

No injury report is part of this call, so a late absence is not in the number. Check the lineups before you bet.

The total

Ten books have 42.5 and one has 42. The method for the total: each team’s expected points are the average of what it scored a game and what the other side allowed. On 2025 that puts Kansas City at 19.25 and Seattle at 23.85, a total of 43.1. The edge on the over is 0.6.

The 2026 games give 44.8, and the blend gives 43.52, an edge of 1.02 on the over. Both sit below the threshold of 2. That is a lean to the over and no bet. The over becomes a bet at 41.1 or lower, the under at 45.52 or higher.

The total has come down since September. It was 45.5 on 10 September, 44.5 on 16 October, 43 and then 43.5 on 19 October, and 41.5 on 20 October. Reads on 24 October show 42.5 and 42. In 2025, 10 Seattle games went over 42.5 and 7 went under. Kansas City had 7 over and 10 under. This season Kansas City has 2 overs and Seattle 3.

Pick: Seahawks -3.
