The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites to finish the 2026 NFL regular season with the most wins, at +215 on DraftKings’ board as shown by ESPN at 11:18 UTC on Saturday, October 17, 2026, a 31.7% implied chance. The Kansas City Chiefs are next at +550 and the Buffalo Bills at +650. When this page was last updated, on September 25, the Bills led at +550 and the 49ers were +600.
This page follows the best-record market through the season: the current board, what each price implies, and the record from the seasons before. It makes no bet on the market, because a futures price is only worth taking when you rate the team higher than the price does, and that is a call for you to make.
The board

| Buffalo Bills | 4-1 | +650 | 13.3% |
| Minnesota Vikings | 5-0 | +700 | 12.5% |
| Jacksonville Jaguars | 4-1 | +800 | 11.1% |
| Baltimore Ravens | 4-1 | +800 | 11.1% |
| New England Patriots | 3-2 | +2200 | 4.3% |
| Denver Broncos | 4-2 | +2400 | 4.0% |

Records are from ESPN’s standings read at 11:22 UTC the same day, after Thursday’s game, which Denver won 17-14 over Seattle; the rest of Week 6 is played on Sunday and Monday. The rest of the league is priced at +3500 or longer. ESPN shows 30 teams on the board; the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins, both 0-5, have no price.
What the prices say
Add up the 30 teams’ implied chances and the total comes to 125.2%. The 25.2 points over 100 are the book’s margin, which is wide on a market with this many outcomes. So the 49ers have to be better than a one-in-three-and-a-bit shot for +215 to pay over time.
Two teams are still unbeaten at 5-0, San Francisco and Minnesota, and the 4-0 Chiefs have lost nothing either. The board puts the 49ers well clear and has the Vikings fourth at +700, behind Kansas City and the 4-1 Bills. Since September 25 the 49ers have moved from +600 to +215, while the Bengals, then 2-0 and +700, are 3-2 and +2500. Our calls on this week’s games are on the NFL Week 6 page.
How the last two seasons finished
In 2025, three teams finished level on 14-3 for the most wins: the Denver Broncos, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. In 2024, the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs both went 15-2.
A tie at the top matters for this market. Books usually settle it by dead-heat rules: the stake is divided by the number of teams tied, and each part is paid at the full price. This page’s 2024-25 bet, the Lions at +160, was one of those: with Detroit and Kansas City level at 15-2, under those rules it paid on half the stake.
