Auburn 27, Georgia 24
Georgia led 14-7 after the first quarter and then did not score again until the fourth, by which time Auburn led 24-14. The Bulldogs outgained Auburn 440 yards to 366 but turned the ball over three times to Auburn’s none. Gunner Stockton threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown ran 26 times for 115 yards and a touchdown and threw for 150 yards and another score.
Tennessee 26, Alabama 10
DeSean Bishop carried 32 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Alabama gained 201 yards, 54 of them rushing, and lost four turnovers; Keelon Russell threw two interceptions. Tennessee led 12-10 at halftime and shut Alabama out in the second half.
Florida 27, Texas 24
Texas led 17-10 at halftime in Austin, and Florida outscored the Longhorns 17-7 after it. Tramell Jones Jr. threw two touchdown passes and Jadan Baugh ran for 91 yards and a score. Florida did not turn the ball over. Texas is 1-2 in the SEC after losing to Oklahoma and Florida in consecutive weeks.
Ole Miss 31, Missouri 3
Ole Miss ran for 257 yards, 122 of them by Kewan Lacy, and Trinidad Chambliss threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns. Missouri’s rushing game, its strength coming in, produced 39 yards; Jamal Roberts had 39 on 20 carries.
Kentucky 21, Oklahoma 13
Kentucky trailed 13-7 after three quarters in Norman and scored 14 points in the fourth. Oklahoma turned the ball over four times, three of them John Mateer interceptions, while Kentucky had none. Kenny Minchey completed 21 of 28 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns; Kentucky gained only 230 yards.
The rest of Week 7
LSU beat Mississippi State 31-0, with Sam Leavitt completing 31 of 38 passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns. Arkansas won 31-21 at Vanderbilt, which is 0-4 in the SEC, and Texas A&M beat The Citadel 41-0 outside the conference.
Georgia: Still the Favorite After the Auburn Loss
Georgia is 6-1 and 4-1 in the SEC. Before the Auburn game it had won 20-17 at Alabama and 41-13 against Oklahoma, results that still count in any tiebreaker. The loss came with three turnovers while Georgia outgained Auburn by 74 yards.
The Remaining Path to Atlanta
Georgia is off on October 24, then plays Florida in Atlanta on October 31, travels to Ole Miss on November 7, hosts Missouri on November 14 and visits South Carolina on November 21. Its regular season ends against Georgia Tech on November 28, outside the conference.
If Georgia wins those four SEC games it finishes 8-1 and is in the championship game: Ole Miss would then have at least two losses, and only one of Kentucky and Tennessee, who meet on November 7, could also finish 8-1.

Kentucky is 6-1 and 4-1 in the SEC, level with Georgia at the top. Its four conference wins came by 10, one, one and eight points: 31-21 at Texas A&M, 35-34 at South Carolina, 35-34 against LSU and 21-13 at Oklahoma. Its one defeat was 45-17 at home to Alabama.
DraftKings nonetheless prices the Wildcats at +1700, a 5.6% break-even, while they share first place. The remaining SEC schedule is Vanderbilt on October 24, a trip to Tennessee on November 7, Florida at home on November 14 and a trip to Missouri on November 21. Win those four and Kentucky is in Atlanta, because Tennessee would have two losses and Georgia and Ole Miss cannot both finish 8-1.
Tennessee at +700: The Alabama Win Changes the Picture
Tennessee is 6-1 and 3-1 in the SEC, its only loss 20-17 to Texas in September. Beating Alabama by 16 gave it the head-to-head result over a direct rival. Its remaining conference games are at South Carolina on October 24, Kentucky at home on November 7, at Texas A&M on November 14, LSU at home on November 21 and at Vanderbilt on November 28.
At +700 Tennessee needs a 12.5% title chance. Five SEC games remain against Kentucky’s and Georgia’s four, so the Volunteers have one more chance to lose, but the November 7 meeting with Kentucky is at home.
Ole Miss: The Second Favorite at +450
Ole Miss is 5-1 and 3-1 in the SEC. Its conference wins are 32-24 over LSU, 52-17 at Vanderbilt and 31-3 over Missouri; its loss was 52-28 at Florida. The Missouri game was the most complete performance of the four: 498 yards of offense and three points allowed.
The schedule is the hardest of the one-loss teams. Ole Miss plays at Texas on October 24, hosts Auburn on October 31 and Georgia on November 7, travels to Oklahoma on November 14 and closes against Mississippi State on November 27. Florida, LSU, Texas and Missouri
Florida (+2000) is 3-2 in the SEC after winning at Texas, and it has already beaten Ole Miss 52-28 and Auburn 44-39. It plays Georgia in Atlanta on October 31 and Kentucky away on November 14, so it can still decide the race for others even if its own route needs help.
LSU (+1400) is 2-2 after shutting out Mississippi State. It visits Auburn on October 24, then hosts Alabama on November 7 and Texas on November 14 before a trip to Tennessee on November 21.
