Week 10 in college football promises to be a banger, as CFB fans have the luxury of witnessing an insane four clashes from within the Top 25. 

All four of those games promise to impress, but one in particular – a showdown between Penn State and Ohio State – could have legit CFB Championship implications.

Everyone is trying to round into form with an eye on the 2025 College Football Playoffs, but I can safely say this is one of the more important weeks we’ve seen in the college ranks so far this season.

The College Football odds are constantly changing, to be sure to monitor the lines throughout the week. 

This is easily one of the best weeks for betting on CFB at top sports betting sites, as there are several Top 25 matchups with huge playoff implications. The biggest one is a Big 10 tilt between the Penn State Nittany Lions and Ohio State Buckeyes. Both teams are inside the top-six, and the game has a tight 4.5-point spread.

I’d be monitoring that week 10 college football line to see if Penn State’s price improves, but it looks like you’re getting reasonable value no matter which side of that game you prefer.

Elsewhere, Georgia looks good as an 8.5-point favorite against the Florida Gators, while a lot of the Top 25 teams are facing unranked opponents and will offer massive week 10 college football point spreads.

Personally, I am digging the week 10 college football odds for the parity. A lot of interesting games with tight spreads are in front of us, and it’s up to us to pick the best bet to target.

Let’s take a look at the featured College Football week 10 games and make our NCAAF Picks for each game. 

Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Texas Longhorns Odds 

First up we get a battle within the SEC, as the Vanderbilt Commodores travel down south to take on the Texas Longhorns. These two sides have only met 13 times previously, with Vandy owning an 8-4-1- series advantage.

Texas is already working its way back in the series, of course, as the Longhorns won the 2024 meeting in a tight 27-24 shootout. That’s the only game bettors can glean anything from, though, as last year’s clash was the first since 1928.

Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Texas Longhorns Predictions

Last year’s meeting is a fairly good indicator of what we can expect in this one. Vanderbilt was a mediocre team last season when looking at wins and losses, but they still have a capable offense that avoids turnovers.

Obviously Texas is the clear favorite at home, and with Arch Manning leading this potent offense, it’s hard not to back them. I expect the Longhorns to take care of business here, but Vandy’s offensive ability could possibly work to keep it close, while I’d also be interested in betting the Over.

Miami Hurricanes vs. SMU Mustangs Odds 

The Miami Hurricanes and SMU Mustangs give fans a fun ACC battle in week 10. Both of these teams were in contention for the conference title last year, but this year’s meeting will be just the second ever between these two squads.

Miami and SMU last met in 1965, where the Mustangs prevailed in a snoozer, 7-3. Fans can expect a bit more scoring this time around, but the game should once again be close.

Miami comes in as the road favorite despite not having as good of a team as they did in 2024. Star quarterback Cam Ward and a few other pieces are gone, so this program simply is not as reliable week-to-week as they’ve been.

The story is different when it comes to SMU. They finished in first place in the ACC in 2024 and boast one of the nation’s best offenses (13th in scoring with 34.8 points last year). Kevin Jennings is still leading a talented offense and with this game at home, I can’t believe we get him and his Mustangs as +2.5 dogs.

I will be favoring the SMU side of this one when it comes to the ML and spread, but there should be boatloads of offense to go around. Hammer the Over, too.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Ole Miss Rebels Odds 

We get another SEC clash when the South Carolina Gamecocks take on the Ole Miss Rebels. This isn’t the same matchup we got the past two times, but that’s probably for the best.

Ole Miss easily won in 2024 (27-3), and pulled out a thrilling fire fight in 2020 (59-42!). The program looks different than it did with Jaxson Dart running the show, but the Rebels will still look to make it three in a row and move to 11-8 in the all-time series.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Ole Miss Rebels Predictions

Ole Miss is well-coached and is routinely an offense to fear, but it’s natural that they’d take a mild dip after losing so many key pieces this offseason. Even so, they’ll likely be favored when they host South Carolina in week 10.

The Gamecocks didn’t put up a fight the last time these two sides met, although their 9-4 overall showing in 2024 is reason for optimism. That said, the talent and coaching edge still resides with Ole Miss, so no matter where the week 10 college football odds wind up, I’d lean toward the Rebels getting the win yet again.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Tennessee Volunteers Odds 

Yet another SEC battle gets going in week 10, as the Oklahoma Sooners hit the road to take on the 7th ranked Tennessee Volunteers.

Tennessee will be the understandable favorite at home, especially since they took care of business (25-15) when these two teams faced off in 2024.

Oklahoma does hold the all-time edge, of course, as they’ll walk into this tilt with a 3-2 series lead.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Tennessee Volunteers Predictions

The Sooners simply are not the team they were only a few years ago. They have declined sharply on offense, as last year’s brutal showing (110th in points per game) suggests.

Oklahoma couldn’t muster up enough scoring last year in this same matchup, and I suspect we’re in for something similar in week 10. Tennessee still has one of the deadliest offenses in the country, so we should expect them to control this one throughout.

While I like the Vols to win again, just keep in mind that Oklahoma’s defense still has some bite. They only allowed 22.2 points per game in 2024 and held a talented Tennessee offense relatively in check the last time they saw them.

Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Ohio State Buckeyes Odds 

The biggest battle of week 10 awaits in Ohio, where the Penn State Nittany Lions prepare to take on the hated Ohio State Buckeyes.

The defending champs have enjoyed a strong season thus far, and will look to extend their current eight-game winning streak within this series. The Buckeyes own a 25-14 lifetime advantage over their Big 10 rivals, and have prevailed in reasonably tight affairs in each of the last three years.

Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Ohio State Buckeyes Predictions

This is a game I will be monitoring. Naturally, Ohio State remains as well-coached and as loaded as anyone, so being light favorites at home makes them appealing. There just aren’t many situations where you get the Buckeyes as mild favorites like this, so I’d definitely be down to attack their moneyline.

Still, Penn State has one of the best passers in the country in Drew Allar, along with a gritty defense (6th in scoring last year), plus they keep playing Ohio State very well. I don’t think I’m ready to call for the upset, but Penn State’s ML isn’t totally out of play, and I already am into them ATS.

Ideally, we’re hitting the Under in what could be a low-scoring affair, and this spread moves a bit so I can feel more comfortable about the Nittany Lions. Regardless, Ohio State is likely winning, and we’re in for a close one.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Boston College Eagles Odds 

There are a lot of week 10 college football lines that will be tough to peg, but this tilt between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Boston College Eagles won’t be one of them for me.

Notre Dame remains an independent school, but they’ve arranged for this game to be played 26 times throughout history. It’s a game that the Fighting Irish have largely dominated, though, as they own a 17-9 series edge, and have won nine times in a row.

The last meeting in 2022 was a bloodbath, with Notre Dame prevailing easily in a 44-0 romp. 

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Boston College Eagles Predictions

This is one of the easier week 10 college football picks for me to make, as Notre Dame is coming off a title game appearance and has big dreams in 2024.

The Fighting Irish know they need to take care of business in games such as this, and Boston College is a middling program that isn’t likely to put up much of a fight.

The point spread might scare you away and there won’t be much value with the ML, but this just isn’t a game the Irish are going to lose. I love Notre Dame across the board in this one.

Indiana Hoosiers vs. Maryland Terrapins Odds 

Maryland did put up a fight with their offense in 2024, one in which allowed them to win the three previous meetings in this series. Indiana leads the all-time series, though, 8-5.

It’s worth noting that Maryland was quite bad last year and still found a way to drop 28 points on this Hoosiers defense. That speaks more to Indiana, though, as the Terrapins do not possess a gifted offensive squad these days, and they are impossibly worse on the other side of the ball.

Indiana is actually quite stout defensively, and we know they own one of the more explosive offenses in all of college football. Naturally, this is a matchup they should dominate in once again, and this time around I’d expect their defense to show up a bit more.

Bet: Indiana Hoosiers (NA)

Fresno State Bulldogs vs. Boise State Broncos Odds 

The Fresno State Bulldogs battle the Boise State Broncos in week 10, giving college football fans a fun Mountain West tilt. Fresno State trails the all-time series 17-9, but upset Boise State in a wild 37-30 shootout in 2023.

In fact, the Bulldogs have stolen wins in each of the last two games, despite Boise State being the much better team within their conference. Boise State won in 2022 and 2021, however, making the series 2-2 over the last four meetings.

There’s no denying the fact that Boise State is the better team. They won the Mountain West Conference last year and remain one of the nastiest offensive teams in the country.

However, you can’t ignore the recent success the Bulldogs have enjoyed in this series. More specifically, Fresno State dropped 37 points in a win last year and their offense is only getting better.

While true, Boise State is the better overall team, and I can’t see them staying down for long in this series. Quarterback Maddux Mason has elevated this offense and will be out to deliver a better showing than when he faced the Bulldogs two seasons ago.

Expect a bunch of points here (ie, hammer the Over), but I like Boise State to keep another stellar season going strong by finally knocking off Fresno State again.

Bet: Boise State Broncos (NA)

Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Iowa State Cyclones Odds 

The Arizona State Sun Devils will face the Iowa State Cyclones in week 10 of college football, giving fans and bettors alike an epic Big 12 showdown.

Arizona State won this conference last year, and part of their amazing season included a 45-19 thrashing of these Cyclones in the Big 12 title game. A similar outcome wouldn’t be shocking, but for the moment, you’re looking at a battle between two top-20 programs.

Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Iowa State Cyclones Predictions

My gut says bet on the Sun Devils across the board. They are the far more balanced team, offering a vibrant offense that can torch you down the field, but can also run all over you.

They’re just as good defensively, of course, as they contain the run extremely well and do a good job bending but not breaking as a whole.

Star running back Cam Skattebo is gone, but he leaves behind a talented RB room and an offensive scheme ready and willing to dominate up front.

Iowa State does have the ability to match Arizona State’s offensive output, though. They ranked 31st in scoring in 2024 and star quarterback Rocco Becht will hope to get some revenge after last year’s brutal defeat.

I think there’s a small chance that happens, but my money is on Arizona State and the Over.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators Odds 

Lastly, we get one last fun SEC clash, when the Georgia Bulldogs head to the swamp to fight the Florida Gators. This is not the battle it once was, of course, as Georgia is a yearly title threat now and has won each of the last seven games.

Georgia is up 56-44-2 all-time in the series, while the Bulldogs won last year’s meeting fairly easily, 34-20. That’s been the case for most of the games in their current four-game winning streak, and bettors should anticipate a similar result in week 10.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators Predictions

Frankly, I am a little surprised that the point spread isn’t much wider for this game. Florida is better than they’ve been, but they are still not on Georgia’s level, and they have not played the Bulldogs well in recent games.

Georgia is once again a legit title contender, although the insane amount of turnover they’ve dealt with in the last couple of years is worth noting. Even so, their coaching and the talent they’ve added to their roster gives them a needed edge on the road.

Florida being at home is the lone reason to consider taking them to beat this spread, but Georgia has bigger things to worry about. Their stout defense should set the tone early in a game they should cover easily.

There are a plenty of worthwhile week 10 college football picks to wager on, but the following are my best bets for the week:

There are still a lot of week 10 college football betting odds missing at the top sportsbooks, but it’ll only be a matter of time before the pop up. For now, the list above highlights the college football teams I trust the most this week.

Penn State and SMU both offer solid value no matter how you look at it, but the Mustangs as home dogs is particularly interesting. I love them as home dogs against a Miami team that simply isn’t as scary as they were a season ago.

The Nittany Lions are no lock to beat the defending champion Buckeyes, but if they’re going to get over the hump, a regular season tilt where they offer nice value isn’t a bad place to start. The offensive upside and defensive aptitude is there, and I especially am interested in backing them if their spread becomes a little more favorable for bettors.

Georgia is the other team I love for week 10, as they are on the road but should easily be able to best an inferior Gators squad.
