Spurs vs Kings Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Kings at +610. Our number gives Sacramento at home 32.9%; the price gives them 13.5%.
The San Antonio Spurs are -900 and the Sacramento Kings +610 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 86.5% for San Antonio and 13.5% for Sacramento. Last season’s home and road records put the Kings 19.4 points higher than the market does. We bet at 5.
How 32.9% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Games at a neutral site are in neither half. San Antonio played one, Sacramento none.
The Kings went 15-26 at Golden 1 Center, a 36.6% home win rate over 41 games. The Spurs went 29-12 on the road and lost 12 of 41, a 29.3% road loss rate. The average is 32.9% for Sacramento and 67.1% for San Antonio.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair adds to more than 100%. At -900 and +610 the pair comes to 104.1%. Taken out, the Spurs are 86.5% and the Kings 13.5%.
This season is not in our number. The Kings are 1-7 and 0-3 at home, and lost 116-103 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday 4 November. The Spurs are 6-2 and 2-0 on the road, and beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-111 on the same night. Our number reads 2025-26 only. A 1-7 start says the Kings may be worse than last season’s 36.6% home rate, and eight games are too few to measure by how much. That is the main risk in this bet.
Sacramento at home, San Antonio on the road
At home the Kings scored 112.6 points a game and allowed 119.8, a deficit of 7.2. The Spurs on the road scored 119.4 and allowed 111.2, a surplus of 8.2.
The halves the method leaves out are worse for Sacramento. The Kings on the road went 7-34, scoring 109.4 and allowing 122.2. The Spurs at home went 32-8, scoring 120.5 and allowing 111.9. Our number uses only the venue each team plays at on Friday.
The season around it
The Spurs finished 62-20, the 2 seed in the West, scoring 119.8 a game and allowing 111.5, a difference of 8.3. They won 43 games by 10 or more and lost 8 by that much. In the playoffs they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 4-1, the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-2 and the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-3, then lost 4-1 to the New York Knicks.
The Kings finished 22-60, 14th in the West, and missed the playoffs. They scored 111.0 and allowed 121.0, a difference of 10.0 a game the wrong way. They won 6 games by 10 or more and lost 40 by that much. In games decided by 5 points or fewer they went 10-11, against 13-10 for San Antonio.
The Spurs won all three games between the teams. In San Antonio they won 123-110 on Sunday 16 November 2025 and 139-122 on Saturday 21 February 2026; those two are in neither half of our number. In Sacramento they won 132-104 on Tuesday 17 March 2026. That game is in our number, as one of the Kings’ 41 home games and one of the Spurs’ 41 road games.
Pick: Kings +610
Bet the Kings on the moneyline at +610. The gap is 19.4 points toward Sacramento, against a threshold of 5.
The line read Kings +610 and Spurs -900 on 6 November 2026 at 02:32 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at Kings +640 and Spurs -970. It has moved toward the Kings since: the market gives them 0.6 points more than at the open.
What kills the bet
A shorter Sacramento price. At +258 or longer the Kings are a bet whatever San Antonio is priced at. With the Spurs at -900, the Kings stay a bet down to +187. The current +610 sits well above both.
For the Spurs to become the bet, the price would have to move a long way. They are a bet at -164 or longer, whatever the Kings are priced at. They are -900.
ESPN’s injury list for the game, read 6 November 2026 at 02:32 UTC, has Maxime Raynaud (knee), Keegan Murray (ankle) and Ben Simmons (Achilles) out for Sacramento. It has Tobias Harris (calf) and Jayden Quaintance (knee) out for San Antonio. Our NBA method has no rule that re-runs the number for an absent player, so the list does not change it. Check the lineups before you bet.
Our number still gives Sacramento a 67.1% chance of losing. The case is that +610 pays more than that risk warrants, on last season’s evidence.
The total and the spread
The total is 228.5, over -110 and under -110. The Kings’ home games went over 228.5 in 24 of 41, a 58.5% rate. The Spurs’ road games went over in 21 of 41, a 51.2% rate. Sacramento’s home games averaged 232.4 points and San Antonio’s road games 230.6.
The average is 54.9% for the over, against 50.0% priced. That gap of 4.9 points sits under the threshold of 5, so the total is a pass. Over the full season the Kings’ games went over in 47 of 82 and the Spurs’ in 41 of 82.
The spread is Spurs -15.5 at -110 and Kings +15.5 at -110, unchanged from the open. The Kings beat that line in 32 of 41 home games. The Spurs beat it in 11 of 41 road games. Averaged, Kings +15.5 lands 75.6% of the time against 50.0% priced, a gap of 25.6 points. That count leans to the same side as the bet, and our method stakes the moneyline only, so it is a lean. One bet on this game: the Kings at +610.
