Colts vs Jaguars Best Pick, Prediction and Odds

Take the Colts +10. My prediction has Jacksonville by 5.95, and the line asks for 10.

The market has Jacksonville -10 at eight of 11 books. My method has the Jaguars by 4.97 on the 2025 season and by 5.95 on the blend of 2025 and 2026. Against the line, that is a gap of 5.03 points on the first number and 4.05 on the second, both on the Colts’ side. My threshold is two.

Colts at Jaguars odds and what they say

On 30 October 2026 at 19:14 UTC, the median of 11 US sportsbooks had Jacksonville -476 to win and Indianapolis +370. Those two prices add to more than 100%. The extra is the margin, the amount a book builds in so the pair of prices clears 100%. With it taken out, the market gives Jacksonville a 79.5% chance to win and Indianapolis 20.5%.

On the spread, eight books have the Colts +10, one has +10.5 and two have +9.5. The Colts’ price across those books runs from -120 to -105. The total is 46.5 at all 11.

How 5.95 is reached

The method for the side, in one clause: half the gap between the two teams’ points-per-game differentials, plus 2.5 points for home field. In 2025 Jacksonville outscored opponents by 138 over 17 games, 8.12 a game. Indianapolis was +54 over its 17, 3.18 a game. Half that gap plus 2.5 makes Jacksonville a 4.97-point favourite.

Through Week 7 of 2026 the two differentials have moved apart. Jacksonville is +8.33 a game over six games. Indianapolis is -3.71 a game over seven. On this season alone the method has Jacksonville by 8.52, closer to the market and still under it. Weight the two seasons by games played and the number is 5.95.

The rule: a bet needs a gap of at least two points on the 2025 number and on the blend, both the same way. Below two I pass, because a number built on season rates carries more error than that. The Colts side clears at 5.03 and at 4.05. The rule does not stake the 2026 number on its own, and six or seven games are why.

This season so far

Indianapolis is 2-5 and has been outscored 180-154. Its last game was a 16-10 loss at Minnesota in Week 7, as a 6.5-point underdog. Jacksonville is 4-2, with 154 points scored and 104 allowed, and its last game was a 34-31 home loss to Houston in Week 6.

Who covered sits outside the method; only points scored and allowed enter it. For the record, the Colts covered at Kansas City as 6-point underdogs (lost 33-30), at Washington as 5-point favourites (won 30-13), against Houston as 1.5-point underdogs (won 19-17) and at Minnesota. Jacksonville covered against Cleveland and New England at home and at Cincinnati. It did not cover against Philadelphia as an 8-point favourite, winning only 19-17.

Jacksonville at home, Indianapolis on the road

Last season Jacksonville went 7-1 at home, scoring 30.8 a game and allowing 15.0. Indianapolis went 2-6 on the road, scoring 25.5 and allowing 26.6. Both splits leave out neutral-site games. The method uses neither: it takes full-season rates and adds a flat 2.5 for home field.

These splits are the strongest case for the Jaguars, and they are the half the method leaves out. The other half is Jacksonville 6-2 on the road in 2025 and Indianapolis 5-3 at home. This season Jacksonville is 3-1 at home and Indianapolis 1-3 on the road. Four games each are not a rate.

The season around it

Jacksonville went 13-4 in 2025, 5-1 in the AFC South and 6-3 in one-score games. It lost its Wild Card game 27-24 to Buffalo at home. Indianapolis went 8-9, 2-4 in the division and 3-7 in one-score games, and missed the playoffs.

The teams met twice in 2025, and Jacksonville won both. On 7 December, Week 14, the Jaguars won 36-19 in Jacksonville. On 28 December, Week 17, they won 23-17 in Indianapolis. Both games are inside the 2025 rates that drive my number. Two games prove nothing on their own.

Pick: Colts +10

The bet is the Colts +10: a gap of 4.05 points on the blend and 5.03 on 2025, against a threshold of two. The line is the median of 11 books read on 30 October 2026 at 19:14 UTC, with the Colts priced from -120 to -105. One book has +10.5, the better number.

The earliest line I have is the Colts +4, on 13 September 2026 at 16:10 UTC. At +4 there was no bet. The Colts became a bet once the line passed +7.95.

What kills the bet

The price first. The Colts are a bet at +8 and above and a pass at +7.5. The Jaguars side becomes the bet only at Jacksonville -2.97 or better.

This page carries no injury report. A starter ruled out on either side would send the number back to be re-run on games without him. Check the lineups before you bet.

The total

The same method for points: each team’s expected score is the average of what it scored a game and what the other side allowed. On 2025 that gives Indianapolis 23.6 and Jacksonville 26.05, a total of 49.65. Against 46.5 that is an edge of 3.15 on the over. The blend is 48.46, an edge of 1.96. That is short of two, so no bet.

This season alone gives 45.36, under the line. The over becomes a bet at 46 or lower; the under needs 51.65 or higher. The earliest total I have is 49.5, on 13 September 2026.

Last season 11 of Indianapolis’ 17 games went over 46.5, and 10 of Jacksonville’s 17. This season three of the Colts’ seven have, and one of the Jaguars’ six. The over is a lean on the 2025 number and nothing more.
