NFL Sacks Leader Odds: Rousseau and Watt Lead With 4

A football player in a black and yellow jersey celebrates energetically, raising one leg and expressing excitement in a packed stadium.

Greg Rousseau of the Buffalo Bills and T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers lead the NFL with four sacks each in the 2026 regular season, as ESPN listed the leaders on September 25, 2026. There is no most-sacks market on ESPN’s 2026 NFL futures board, so no price for the sacks title is quoted here.

The closest market that is posted is Defensive Player of the Year, where Watt is +550. Last season’s sacks leader was Myles Garrett with 23.

Five more players have two each: Za’Darius Smith, Andrew Van Ginkel, Lukas Van Ness, Leonard Williams and Jonathan Allen. Pittsburgh has two of the top three, Watt and Highsmith.

This table is refreshed as the season goes on. Our Bills, Steelers, Lions and Vikings pages carry each team’s schedule.

Garrett’s 23 was seven clear of Burns in second. Hutchinson is the only player in the top five last season who is also in the top five this season so far.

Defensive Player of the Year odds

Sacks are a large part of most cases for Defensive Player of the Year, and that market is posted. These are the eight shortest prices on DraftKings, as ESPN listed them on September 25, 2026.

We do not make a pick on an award market. The implied chance is what each price asks you to believe: Anderson at +450 has to win it 18.2% of the time to pay back what it costs, and a bet is worth making only when you rate the chance higher than that. Our Defensive Player of the Year odds page covers that race in full.

What makes a sacks leader

Sacks come in bunches, so a leader in September is a long way from a leader in January. Garrett’s 23 last season shows the ceiling, and 12 sacks was enough for 10th place.

The schedule matters too. A pass rusher who faces weak offensive lines and teams that throw a lot gets more chances, and every missed game is a week of chances lost. Our NFL predictions hub has the matchups each week, and the other stat races are on our passing yards and rushing yards odds pages.
