Panthers vs Jets Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Jets at +110. Our Panthers vs Jets prediction makes Winnipeg a 52.4% winner at home, against the price’s 45.7%.
The Florida Panthers at Winnipeg Jets is priced Jets +110 and Panthers -130 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 45.7% for Winnipeg and 54.3% for Florida. The price has the visitors as a modest favourite. Our number has the home side slightly ahead.
How 52.4% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Overtime and shootout wins count as wins. Neutral-site games are left out of both splits, so “at home” here means games in the team’s own arena.
The Jets went 19-16-6 at Canada Life Centre last season, a 46.3% home win rate. The Panthers went 17-23-1 on the road, a 58.5% road loss rate. Average the two and Winnipeg is 52.4%, Florida 47.6%. That is 6.7 points better for the Jets than the price.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair comes to more than 100%. At +110 and -130 they come to 104.1%. Taken out, the Jets are 45.7% and the Panthers 54.3%.
Every input is from 2025-26. This season is not in the figures. The Jets are 4-4-3, 2-3-1 at home, and lost 2-1 to Montreal on Sunday. Stuart Skinner has played eight of their games, Nico Daws four and Clay Stevenson three. The Panthers are 6-4-2, 4-3-2 on the road, and won 3-2 in Chicago on Sunday. Jacob Markstrom and Akira Schmid have played six games each, Cooper Black one.
Winnipeg at home, Florida on the road
The Jets at home scored 3.02 a game and allowed 3.10, a deficit of 0.08. The Panthers on the road scored 2.88 and allowed 3.73, a deficit of 0.85. Neither half is a good team. Florida’s road half is the weaker one.
The halves the method leaves out: Florida at home went 23-14-3, a 57.5% win rate, scoring 3.30 and allowing 2.95. Winnipeg on the road went 16-19-6, 39.0%, scoring 2.61 and allowing 3.24. The Panthers were a different team in their own arena, and that half is not in our number.
The season around it
Both teams missed the playoffs in 2025-26. Florida went 40-38-4 with 84 points and was outscored by 25. Winnipeg went 35-35-12 with 82 points and was outscored by 29.
The Panthers were strong in close games: 21-6-4 in one-goal games, and 8 wins in the 12 that went past regulation. The Jets went 16-12-12 in one-goal games and won 7 of their 19 past 60 minutes. Florida lost by two goals or more in 32 of 82 games; Winnipeg in 23 of 82.
The two games split. Florida won 2-1 in a shootout in Winnipeg on 22 January 2026, and that game is inside both halves of our number: a home loss for the Jets, a road win for the Panthers. Winnipeg won 2-1 in Florida on 31 January 2026, which is in neither half.
Pick: Jets +110
Our threshold is 5 points: a side is a bet when our number and the market’s differ by at least that much. The gap here is 6.7 points toward Winnipeg. Bet the Jets on the moneyline at +110.
The line read Jets +110 and Panthers -130 on 26 October 2026 at 15:35 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same prices, so the market’s chances have not moved since opening.
What kills the bet
A shorter Winnipeg price. At +111 or longer the Jets are a bet whatever Florida is priced at. Against Florida at -130, they stay a bet down to -104.
For the Panthers to become the bet, they would have to be +135 or longer. They are -130.
The rest is on the ice. ESPN’s injury list has Markstrom on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, along with Aleksander Barkov, Brad Marchand and Jonah Gadjovich, for Florida. Winnipeg lists Josh Morrissey, Vladislav Namestnikov, Nick Bjugstad and Garrett Brown on injured reserve. None of this changes our number, which is built only on last season’s splits. Check the lineups before you bet.
The total and the puck line
The total is 5.5, over -125 and under +105. The Jets’ games went over 5.5 in 47 of 82, the Panthers’ in 50 of 82. Winnipeg’s home games averaged 6.12 goals, Florida’s road games 6.61.
That is 57.3% and 61.0%, an average of 59.1% for the over. With the margin removed the over is priced at 53.2% and the under at 46.8%, so our number leans to the over by 5.9 points. Our method stakes the moneyline only. The over is a lean, not a bet.
On the puck line, Florida is -1.5 at +190 and Winnipeg +1.5 at -230, which is 33.1% and 66.9% without the margin. Last season the Panthers won by two goals or more in 19 of 82 games, and the Jets lost by two or more in 23 of 82. Averaged, Panthers -1.5 lands 25.6% of the time against 33.1% priced, a gap of 7.5 points toward Jets +1.5. That is a lean on the same side. One bet on this game: the Jets at +110.
