Golden Knights vs Bruins Best Pick, Prediction and Odds

Take the Bruins on the moneyline. Our number makes Boston a 62.2% winner at home, and the price makes them 49.6%.

DraftKings prices the Vegas Golden Knights at Boston Bruins, Monday 2 November at TD Garden, as close to even. The Bruins are -108 and the Golden Knights -112. With the margin out, that is 49.6% for Boston and 50.4% for Vegas. The market has the visitors as a slight favourite. Our number has the home team well clear.

How 62.2% is reached

Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Overtime and shootout wins count as wins, and neutral-site games are left out. A side is a bet when our number and the market’s differ by at least 5 points.

The Bruins went 29-11-1 at TD Garden, a 70.7% home win rate. The Golden Knights went 19-14-8 on the road, a 53.7% road loss rate. The average of the two makes the Bruins 62.2% and the Golden Knights 37.8%. That is 12.6 points better for Boston than the price.

The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair comes to more than 100%. At -108 and -112 they come to 104.8%. With it taken out, the Bruins are 49.6% and the Golden Knights 50.4%.

Every input is from 2025-26. This season is not in the figures. The Bruins are 10-4-1, 6-1-0 at home, and beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 in overtime on Saturday 31 October. Jeremy Swayman has played 11 of their games and Michael DiPietro 4. The Golden Knights are 9-5-1, 3-2-1 on the road, and lost 5-2 to the New Jersey Devils on Friday 30 October. Carter Hart has played 8 of their games and Adin Hill 7. Neither team’s injury list carries a goalie, so the method runs on the full season.

Boston at home, Vegas on the road

The Bruins at home scored 3.54 a game and allowed 2.56, a surplus of 0.98. The Golden Knights on the road scored 2.90 and allowed 3.00, a surplus of -0.1. Those are the two halves in our number.

The halves the method leaves out point less clearly. Boston on the road went 16-16-8, a 40.0% win rate, scoring 3.05 and allowing 3.48. Vegas at home went 20-12-9, a 48.8% win rate, scoring 3.56 and allowing 3.10. The Bruins were a much weaker team away from TD Garden. None of that half is in our number, and none of it applies to a game in Boston.

The season around it

The Bruins went 45-27-10 with 100 points and outscored opponents by 22. They lost their only playoff series 2-4 to the Buffalo Sabres. The Golden Knights went 39-26-17 with 95 points and a goal difference of 15. They had the longer spring: 4-2 over the Utah Mammoth, 4-2 over the Anaheim Ducks, 4-0 over the Colorado Avalanche, then 2-4 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Vegas spent a lot of its season past 60 minutes. The Golden Knights went 16-10-17 in one-goal games, played 26 games beyond regulation and won 9 of them. Boston went 20-8-10 in one-goal games and won 12 of its 22 past regulation. The Bruins won by two goals or more 25 times and lost by two or more 19 times. Vegas won by two or more 23 times and lost by two or more 16 times.

The teams split two meetings in 2025-26. Vegas won 6-5 at home on Thursday 16 October 2025, a game in neither half of our number. Boston won 4-3 at TD Garden on Thursday 22 January 2026, a game inside both halves: it counts in the Bruins’ home record and the Golden Knights’ road record.

Pick: Bruins -108

Bet the Bruins on the moneyline at -108. The gap is 12.6 points toward Boston, against a threshold of 5.

The line read Bruins -108 and Golden Knights -112 on 1 November 2026 at 17:32 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same prices, and the market’s chances have not moved since.

What kills the bet

A shorter Boston price. At -133 or longer the Bruins are a bet whatever Vegas is priced at. Against Vegas at -112, Boston stays a bet down to -241.

For the Golden Knights to become the bet, they would have to be +205 or longer. They are -112.

The rest is on the ice. Boston’s home rate of 70.7% carries this pick, and their 40.0% road rate shows how much the venue does for them. ESPN’s injury list has Parker Wotherspoon, a defenceman, on injured reserve with an upper-body injury for Vegas. Boston lists no one. Check the lineups before you bet.

The total and the puck line

The total is 6.5, over +105 and under -125. The Bruins’ games went over 6.5 in 42 of 82, the Golden Knights’ in 38 of 82. Boston’s home games averaged 6.1 goals and Vegas’s road games 5.9, both under the line.

That is 51.2% and 46.3%, an average of 48.8% for the over. With the margin removed the over is priced at 46.8% and the under at 53.2%, so our number leans to the over by 2.0 points. That is under the threshold of 5. Pass on the total.

On the puck line, Vegas is the favourite at -1.5 and +195, Boston +1.5 at -238. Without the margin that is 32.5% for Vegas -1.5 and 67.5% for Boston +1.5. Over the full season the Golden Knights won by two goals or more in 23 of 82 games, and the Bruins lost by two or more in 19 of 82. On our method Vegas -1.5 lands 25.6% of the time against 32.5% priced, a gap of 6.9 points toward Bruins +1.5. Our method stakes the moneyline only, so this is a lean, on the same side. One bet on this game: the Bruins at -108.
