Bulls vs 76ers Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Bulls on the moneyline. Our number gives Chicago 37.8% to win in Philadelphia; the price gives them 16.8%.
The Chicago Bulls are +470 and the Philadelphia 76ers -650 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 16.8% for Chicago and 83.2% for Philadelphia. Last season’s home and road records put Chicago 21.0 points higher than the market does. We bet when the gap reaches 5.
How 37.8% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Neither team played a game at a neutral site, so nothing was left out of either half.
The 76ers went 23-18 at home, a 56.1% home win rate over 41 games. The Bulls went 13-28 on the road and lost 28 of 41, a 68.3% road loss rate. The average is 62.2% for Philadelphia and 37.8% for Chicago.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair adds to more than 100%. At +470 and -650 they add to 104.2%. With it taken out, the Bulls are 16.8% and the 76ers 83.2%.
This season has started the other way. Philadelphia is 6-1, 3-1 at home, and last played on Saturday 31 October, a 109-104 win at the Charlotte Hornets. Chicago is 1-5, 1-3 on the road, and last played on Friday 30 October, a 125-111 loss at the Boston Celtics. Our number reads 2025-26 only, so none of those 13 games is in it. That is the main risk in this bet.
Philadelphia at home, Chicago on the road
The 76ers were an ordinary home team. At home they scored 115.4 points a game and allowed 116.5, a margin of -1.1. The Bulls on the road scored 117.7 and allowed 124.4, a margin of -6.7.
The halves the method leaves out: Philadelphia on the road went 22-19, scoring 116.4 and allowing 115.6. Chicago at home went 18-23, scoring 114.9 and allowing 118.6. The 76ers had the better road record than home record, which is part of why their home rate sits at 56.1% and not higher.
The 2025-26 season around it
The 76ers finished 45-37 and seventh in the Eastern Conference. They scored 115.9 points a game and allowed 116.1, a difference of -0.2. In the playoffs they beat the Boston Celtics 4-3, then lost to the New York Knicks 4-0.
The Bulls finished 31-51 and 12th in the East, missing the playoffs. They scored 116.3 and allowed 121.5, a difference of -5.2 a game. They won by 10 or more 13 times and lost by 10 or more 33 times; Philadelphia’s counts were 26 and 20.
Close games, a margin of 5 points or fewer, went 13-9 for Chicago and 10-10 for Philadelphia. The 76ers played 7 overtime games, the Bulls 2. Twenty-two close games is too few for that split to describe anything.
The Bulls won two of the three meetings. In Chicago they won 113-111 on Tuesday 4 November 2025 and 109-102 on Friday 26 December 2025; those games are in neither half of our number. In Philadelphia the 76ers won 157-137 on Wednesday 25 March 2026. That game is in our number: one of the 76ers’ 41 home games and one of the Bulls’ 41 road games.
Pick: Bulls +470
Bet the Bulls on the moneyline at +470. The gap is 21.0 points toward Chicago, against a threshold of 5.
The line read Bulls +470 and 76ers -650 on 1 November 2026 at 23:45 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same prices, so the market has not moved since opening.
What kills the bet
A shorter Chicago price. At +205 or longer the Bulls are a bet whatever Philadelphia is priced at. With the 76ers at -650, Chicago stays a bet down to +136.
For the 76ers to become the bet, their price would have to drift to -133 or longer, whatever Chicago is priced at. They are -650.
ESPN’s injury list for the game, read 1 November 2026, has Joel Embiid (foot) day-to-day, and Dominick Barlow (back) and Ariel Hukporti (Achilles) out for Philadelphia. For Chicago it has Nic Claxton (hamstring) out, and Jalen Smith (finger), Tobe Awaka (ankle) and Dailyn Swain (back) day-to-day. Our method has no player rule for the NBA, so the list does not change the number. Check the lineups before you bet.
Our number still gives Chicago a 62.2% chance of losing. The case is that +470 pays more than that risk warrants, on last season’s evidence.
The total and the spread
The total is 239.5, over -110 and under -110. Philadelphia’s home games went over 239.5 in 14 of 41, a 34.1% rate. Chicago’s road games went over in 20 of 41, a 48.8% rate. The 76ers’ home games averaged 231.9 points and the Bulls’ road games 242.1.
Averaged, that is 41.5% for the over against 50.0% priced, a lean of 8.5 points to the under. Over the full season the 76ers’ games went over this number in 27 of 82 and the Bulls’ in 32 of 82. Our method stakes the moneyline only, so the under is a lean, not a bet.
The spread is 76ers -11.5 at -110 and Bulls +11.5 at -110, unchanged since opening. Philadelphia won at home by 12 or more in 7 of 41. Chicago beat +11.5 on the road in 25 of 41. Averaged, 76ers -11.5 lands 28.0% of the time against 50.0% priced, a gap of 22.0 points toward Bulls +11.5. That is a lean on the same side, not a second bet. One bet on this game: the Bulls at +470.
