Raptors vs Nuggets Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Raptors on the moneyline. Our number gives Toronto 42.7% in Denver; the price gives them 34.3%.
The Toronto Raptors are +180 and the Denver Nuggets -217 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 34.3% for Toronto and 65.7% for Denver. Our figure puts Toronto 8.4 points higher than the market. We bet at 5.
How 42.7% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Neutral-site games sit in neither half, and neither team played one.
The Nuggets went 28-13 at Ball Arena, a 68.3% home win rate over 41 games. The Raptors went 22-19 on the road and lost 19 of 41, a 46.3% road loss rate. The midpoint is 57.3% for Denver and 42.7% for Toronto.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair adds to more than 100%. At +180 and -217 the two come to 104.2%. Taken out, the Raptors are 34.3% and the Nuggets 65.7%.
This season is not in our number. Toronto is 4-3, 2-2 on the road, and won 125-118 at the LA Clippers on Monday 2 November. Denver is 3-3, only 1-2 at home, and lost 118-110 to the Portland Trail Blazers the same night. Our method reads 2025-26 only. It sees neither those seven and six games nor any roster change since last season, and that is the main risk in this bet.
Denver at home, Toronto on the road
At home the Nuggets scored 120.8 points a game and allowed 115.2, a margin of 5.6. On the road the Raptors scored 114.0 and allowed 112.8, a margin of 1.2.
The halves the method leaves out: Denver on the road went 26-15, scoring 123.3 and allowing 118.6. Toronto at home went 24-17, scoring 115.3 and allowing 110.8.
Over the full 2025-26 season the Nuggets finished 54-28, the third seed in the West. They scored 122.1 and allowed 116.9, a difference of 5.2 a game, and lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-2 in the playoffs. The Raptors finished 46-36, the fifth seed in the East, at 114.6 scored and 111.8 allowed, 2.8 a game. Cleveland beat them 4-3.
In games decided by 5 points or fewer, Denver was 15-13 and Toronto 7-5. The Nuggets played 9 overtime games, the Raptors 4. Denver won by 10 or more 28 times and lost by that much 9 times; Toronto’s counts were 33 and 23.
The Nuggets won both meetings. In Denver they won 121-115 on Friday 20 March 2026; that game is in our number, one of Denver’s 41 home games and one of Toronto’s 41 road games. In Toronto they won 106-103 on Wednesday 31 December 2025, which is in neither half.
Pick: Raptors +180
Bet the Raptors on the moneyline at +180. The gap is 8.4 points toward Toronto, against a threshold of 5.
The line read Raptors +180 and Nuggets -217 on 3 November 2026 at 21:32 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same two prices and has not moved.
What kills the bet
A shorter Toronto price. At +165 or longer the Raptors are a bet whatever Denver is priced at. With the Nuggets held at -217, they stay a bet down to +141.
For Denver to become the bet, the Nuggets would have to drift to -109 or longer whatever the Raptors’ price. Against the current +180 on Toronto, they would need to reach +155. They are -217.
ESPN’s game page, read 3 November 2026 at 21:32 UTC, lists Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Nate Bittle (foot) out for Toronto, with Jakob Poeltl (shoulder) day-to-day. For Denver it lists Spencer Jones (hamstring) and Julian Strawther (knee) out. Our number is built from last season’s records and does not read this list, so it does not change the call. Check the lineups before you bet.
Our number still has Denver winning 57.3% of the time. The case is narrow and specific: +180 pays more than a 42.7% chance needs, on last season’s evidence.
The total and the spread
The total is 231.5, over and under both -110. Denver’s home games went over 231.5 in 26 of 41 and averaged 236.0 points. Toronto’s road games went over in 16 of 41 and averaged 226.8. Across all 82 games, the counts were 56 for the Nuggets and 30 for the Raptors.
That is 63.4% and 39.0%, an average of 51.2% for the over against 50.0% priced. A gap of 1.2 points is under our threshold of 5. Pass on the total.
The spread is Nuggets -5.5 and Raptors +5.5, both at -110, unchanged from the open. Denver beat that line in 22 of 41 home games, and Toronto in 22 of 41 road games. Our count lands at 50.0% for the Nuggets covering, exactly where the price sits: a gap of 0.0. One bet on this game: the Raptors at +180.
