Raptors vs Clippers Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Clippers at +164. Our number gives LA at home 51.2%; the price gives them 36.3%.
The Toronto Raptors are -198 and the LA Clippers +164 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 63.7% for Toronto and 36.3% for LA. Last season’s home and road records put the Clippers 14.9 points higher than that. We bet at 5.
How 51.2% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Neutral-site games are in neither half, and neither team played one.
The Clippers went 23-18 at home, a 56.1% home win rate over 41 games. The Raptors went 22-19 on the road and lost 19 of 41, a 46.3% road loss rate. The midpoint is 51.2% for LA and 48.8% for Toronto.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair comes to more than 100%. At -198 and +164 they come to 104.3%. Taken out, the Raptors are 63.7% and the Clippers 36.3%.
This season is not in our number. The Clippers are 1-5, 1-1 at home, and lost 124-112 at the Golden State Warriors on Sunday 1 November. The Raptors are 3-3, 1-2 on the road, and lost 131-125 at the Los Angeles Lakers the same night. Six games each is too few to tell us anything, and the method reads 2025-26 only. Rosters that changed over the summer are outside it too. That is the main risk in this bet.
LA at home, Toronto on the road
At home the Clippers scored 115.0 points a game and allowed 111.3, a surplus of 3.7. The Raptors on the road scored 114.0 and allowed 112.8, a surplus of 1.2.
The halves the method leaves out favour Toronto. The Raptors at home went 24-17, scoring 115.3 and allowing 110.8, a surplus of 4.5. The Clippers on the road went 19-22, scoring 112.5 and allowing 113.9, a deficit of 1.4.
Over the full season the Raptors finished 46-36, fifth in the East, scoring 114.6 and allowing 111.8, a difference of 2.8 a game. They lost a seven-game series to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 4-3. The Clippers finished 42-40, ninth in the West, scoring 113.8 and allowing 112.6, a difference of 1.2 a game, and missed the playoffs.
In games decided by 5 points or fewer, LA went 10-12 and Toronto 7-5. The Raptors won 33 games by 10 or more and lost 23 that way. The Clippers won 25 by 10 or more and also lost 23. LA played 3 overtime games; Toronto played 4.
The Clippers won both meetings. In Inglewood on Wednesday 25 March 2026 they won 119-94. That game is in our number: one of the Clippers’ 41 home games and one of the Raptors’ 41 road games. In Toronto on Friday 16 January 2026 they won 121-117 in overtime. That game is in neither half.
Pick: Clippers +164
Bet the Clippers on the moneyline at +164. The gap is 14.9 points toward LA, against a threshold of 5.
The line read Raptors -198 and Clippers +164 on 2 November 2026 at 05:30 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same prices, Raptors -198 and Clippers +164. The market has not moved since opening.
What kills the bet
A shorter LA price. At +117 or longer the Clippers are a bet whatever Toronto is priced at. With the Raptors at -198, LA stays a bet down to -133.
For the Raptors to become the bet, Toronto would need to be +129 or longer whatever LA is priced at. Against the current Clippers price of +164, Toronto becomes the bet at +239 or longer. It is -198.
ESPN’s injury list for the game, read 2 November 2026 at 05:30 UTC, has Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Nate Bittle (foot) out for Toronto, with Jakob Poeltl (shoulder) day-to-day. For LA, Brandon Ingram (Achilles), Bradley Beal (knee), Max Strus (foot) and Yanic Konan Niederhauser (foot) are out, and Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) is day-to-day. None of these absences re-runs our number, so the list does not change the call. Check the lineups before you bet.
Our number still gives LA a 48.8% chance of losing. The case is that +164 pays more than that risk warrants, on last season’s evidence.
The total and the spread
The total is 220.5, over -110 and under -110. The Clippers’ home games went over 220.5 in 25 of 41 and averaged 226.3 points. The Raptors’ road games went over in 22 of 41 and averaged 226.8. Across all games, LA went over 220.5 in 50 of 82 and Toronto in 46 of 82.
That is 61.0% and 53.7%, an average of 57.3% for the over. With the margin removed, each side is priced at 50.0%, so our count leans to the over by 7.3 points. Our method stakes the moneyline only, so this is a lean, not a bet.
The spread is Raptors -5.5 at -105 and Clippers +5.5 at -115, unchanged from the opening 5.5. The Clippers at home beat this line in 29 of 41 games; the Raptors on the road beat it in 20 of 41. Averaged, Clippers +5.5 lands 61.0% of the time against 51.1% priced, a gap of 9.9 points. That leans the same way as the moneyline and is not a second bet. One bet on this game: the Clippers at +164.
