Wins that fell short

Buffalo went 5-7. Three wins as favorites came by seven points or fewer against lines of 9.5 or more: 31-28 at Kent State at -24.5, 31-30 over Eastern Michigan at -9.5, and 28-21 at UMass at -16.5. Home was the problem

As underdogs Buffalo won one of six and covered three. The win was 28-3 at Bowling Green at +110. The covers in losses were 10-23 at Minnesota with 16.5 points and 26-31 to Ohio with 6.5. Buffalo was a 2.5-point underdog four times and covered only at Bowling Green; the other three were losses to UConn, Central Michigan and Miami (OH).

Over ten priced games one unit a game lost 4.47 units. Seven of the 12 went over.
