Seven NFL teams are 0-2 after two weeks of the 2026 season: the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Miami has the worst point differential of the seven, minus 36, on ESPN’s standings read on September 25.
ESPN’s 2026 futures board carries no market on the NFL’s worst record, so this page names no price. The 2025 season ended with four teams tied for the worst record at 3-14.

Miami has also scored the fewest points of the winless teams, 26 in two games, and allowed the most, 62.
The worst records in the last two seasons

| 2025 | 3-14 | Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals |
| 2024 | 3-14 | Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants |

A three-way or four-way tie at the bottom is how both of the last two seasons ended, which matters for a bet on the worst team: check how a book settles a tie before placing one.
What this page called for 2024
The 2024-25 version of this page took the Denver Broncos at +1000 to finish with the worst record. Denver went 10-7, so the bet lost. A +1000 price implied 9.1%.
How to bet the worst-team market
When a market is posted, turn each price into a chance: +400 implies 20.0%, +1000 implies 9.1% and +2500 implies 3.8%. A futures bet is worth making only when you rate the team’s chance higher than the price does.
Our NFL predictions cover every game each week, including the seven winless teams: the Dolphins, Chargers, Colts, Texans, Commanders, Titans and Buccaneers. To compare books when a market opens, see our sportsbook reviews.
