Raptors vs Timberwolves Best Pick, Prediction and Odds

No bet on the Timberwolves. Our number has Minnesota 3.8 points better than the price, and we bet at 5.

The Toronto Raptors are -105 and the Minnesota Timberwolves -115 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 48.9% for Toronto and 51.1% for Minnesota. Last season’s home and road records give the Timberwolves 54.9%. The gap is 3.8 points toward Minnesota, below our threshold of 5, so the price is close enough to right that there is nothing to bet.

How 54.9% is reached

Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Neither team played a neutral-site game, so no games are left out of either half.

The Timberwolves went 26-15 at Target Center, a 63.4% home win rate over 41 games. The Raptors went 22-19 on the road and lost 19 of 41, a 46.3% road loss rate. The midpoint is 54.9% for Minnesota and 45.1% for Toronto.

The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair adds to more than 100%. At -115 and -105 they add to 104.7%. Taken out, the Timberwolves are 51.1% and the Raptors 48.9%.

Both teams are 2-0 in 2026-27. Minnesota won 115-93 at the Orlando Magic on Friday 23 October and has not played at home yet. Toronto won 112-102 at the Washington Wizards the same night and is 1-0 on the road. Our number reads 2025-26 only, so none of these four games is in it, and neither is anything that changed on either roster over the summer.

Minnesota at home, Toronto on the road

At home the Timberwolves scored 114.8 points a game and allowed 111.1, a surplus of 3.7. The Raptors on the road scored 114.0 and allowed 112.8, a surplus of 1.2. Both halves are winning profiles, which is why the number lands near a coin flip.

The halves the method leaves out: Minnesota on the road went 23-18, scoring 121.2 and allowing 118.2. Toronto at home went 24-17, scoring 115.3 and allowing 110.8.

Over the full season the Timberwolves finished 49-33, sixth in the West, scoring 118.0 and allowing 114.6, a difference of 3.4 a game. The Raptors finished 46-36, fifth in the East, scoring 114.6 and allowing 111.8, 2.8 a game. In games decided by 5 points or fewer, Minnesota went 11-12 and Toronto 7-5. Each team played four overtime games.

Toronto won by 10 or more 33 times and lost by 10 or more 23 times. Minnesota’s counts were 28 and 18. In the playoffs the Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets 4-2 and lost to the San Antonio Spurs 4-2. The Raptors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-3.

Minnesota won both meetings. In Toronto on 4 February 2026 the Timberwolves won 128-126. That game is in neither half of our number. In Minneapolis on 5 March 2026 they won 115-107, and that game is in it: one of the Timberwolves’ 41 home games and one of the Raptors’ 41 road games. Two games prove nothing on their own.

Pick: No bet

No bet on the moneyline. The gap is 3.8 points toward the Timberwolves, against a threshold of 5.

The line read Timberwolves -115 and Raptors -105 on 25 October 2026 at 13:01 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at Timberwolves -130 and Raptors +110. At the open the market gave Minnesota 54.3%, within a tenth of our 54.9%. Since then it has moved toward Toronto by 3.2 points, which brought the price closer to a bet without reaching one.

What kills the bet

Here it works the other way: these are the prices that would create a bet. At +101 or longer the Timberwolves are a bet whatever Toronto is priced at. With the Raptors held at -105, Minnesota becomes a bet at -104 or longer. That is one tick from the current -115 in the direction the line has already been moving.

For the Raptors to become the bet, their price would have to reach +150 or longer, whatever Minnesota is priced at. They are -105.

ESPN’s injury list for the game, read 25 October 2026 at 13:01 UTC, has Donte DiVincenzo (Achilles) out for Minnesota and Nate Bittle (foot) out for Toronto. Neither absence changes our number. Check the lineups before you bet.

The total and the spread

The total is 230.5, over -115 and under -105. The Timberwolves’ home games went over 230.5 in 17 of 41, and the Raptors’ road games did the same in 17 of 41. Minnesota’s home games averaged 225.9 points and Toronto’s road games 226.8. Both averages sit below the line.

That is 41.5% for the over from each side, so our count is 41.5%. With the margin removed the market prices the over at 51.1% and the under at 48.9%. Our count leans to the under by 9.6 points. Across all their games, Minnesota went over in 42 of 82 and Toronto in 32 of 82. Our method stakes the moneyline only, so the under is a lean.

The spread is Timberwolves -1.5 at -105 and Raptors +1.5 at -115. It opened Timberwolves -2.5. Minnesota covered this line in 25 of 41 home games, and Toronto beat it in 22 of 41 road games. Averaged, Timberwolves -1.5 lands 53.7% of the time against 48.9% priced, a gap of 4.7 points. That lean is on the same side as the moneyline gap and also falls short of 5. The call on this game is no bet.
