Syracuse closed the 2025 regular season 3-9 and beat the number four times in 12 tries. Nine FBS programs covered at a lower rate than the Orange, and 16 sat level with them.

Home and away

At home the Orange went 1-5 on the spread, and the one cover was the 66-24 rout of Colgate. A dozen schools shared that home rate and four were worse. A unit on Syracuse across six home moneylines lost 3.63; twelve programs lost more at home.

September was 3-1 and made 4.87 units, carried by one game at Clemson: 34-21 getting 17.5, +550, worth 5.5 units on its own. After the Clemson win Syracuse lost its last eight games. Two of the eight covered: 18-31 at SMU getting 17.5 and 10-38 at Miami getting 28.5.

Points and the total

Syracuse conceded 34.92 points a game, more than all but six FBS defenses. Overs and unders split six apiece across the Orange schedule, so there is no lean on it. The 7-70 loss at Notre Dame had no posted moneyline.
