Warriors vs Nuggets Best Pick, Prediction and Odds
Bet the Warriors at +235. Our number gives Golden State in Denver 34.1%. The price gives them 28.6%.
The Golden State Warriors are +235 and the Denver Nuggets -290 at DraftKings. With the margin out, that is 28.6% for Golden State and 71.4% for Denver. Last season’s home and road records put the Warriors 5.5 points higher than the market does. We bet at 5.
How 34.1% is reached
Our home win chance is the average of two 2025-26 regular-season rates: the home team’s win rate in its own arena and the visitor’s loss rate on the road. Games at a neutral site are in neither half, and neither team played one.
The Nuggets went 28-13 at Ball Arena, a 68.3% home win rate over 41 games. The Warriors went 15-26 on the road, a 63.4% road loss rate over 41. The midpoint is 65.9% for Denver and 34.1% for Golden State.
The margin is the extra a book builds into both prices so the pair comes to more than 100%. At -290 and +235 they come to 104.2%. Taken out, the Nuggets are 71.4% and the Warriors 28.6%.
The new season is not in our number. Golden State is 0-3, 0-2 on the road, and lost 131-122 at the Phoenix Suns on Saturday 24 October. Denver is 1-1, 1-0 at home, and beat the New Orleans Pelicans 141-135 in overtime on the same night. Three games prove nothing about a season. They are still the main reason to doubt a number built on last year.
Denver at home, Golden State on the road
At home the Nuggets scored 120.8 points a game and allowed 115.2, a margin of 5.6. The Warriors on the road scored 112.1 and allowed 114.5, a margin of -2.4. Those are the two halves the method uses.
The halves it leaves out: Denver on the road went 26-15, scoring 123.3 and allowing 118.6, a margin of 4.7. Golden State at home went 22-19, scoring 117.1 and allowing 115.8, a margin of 1.3.
The season around it
The Nuggets finished 54-28, third in the West, scoring 122.1 a game and allowing 116.9, a difference of 5.2. They won 28 games by 10 or more and lost 9 that way. In the playoffs they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-2. The Warriors finished 37-45, tenth in the West, and missed the playoffs. They scored 114.6 and allowed 115.2, a difference of -0.6, with 20 wins and 23 losses by 10 or more.
In games decided by 5 points or fewer, Denver went 15-13 and Golden State 10-13. The Nuggets played 9 overtime games, the Warriors 5.
The four meetings split, and the home team won all four. In Denver, the Nuggets won 129-104 on 7 November 2025 and 116-93 on 29 March 2026. Those two games are in our number: two of the Nuggets’ 41 home games and two of the Warriors’ 41 road games. In Golden State, the Warriors won 137-131 in overtime on 23 October 2025 and 128-117 on 22 February 2026. Those are in neither half.
Pick: Warriors +235
Bet the Warriors on the moneyline at +235. The gap is 5.5 points toward Golden State, against a threshold of 5. This is a thin edge, and the rule still calls it a bet.
The line read Warriors +235 and Nuggets -290 on 26 October 2026 at 13:06 UTC, DraftKings via ESPN. It opened at the same prices, so the market has not moved.
What kills the bet
A shorter Golden State price. With Denver at -290, the Warriors stay a bet down to +227. At +244 or longer they are a bet whatever Denver is priced at.
For Denver to become the bet, the Nuggets would have to drift to -156 or longer, whatever the Warriors are priced at. With Golden State at +235, Denver would need to be +115 or longer. Neither is close to the current -290.
ESPN’s injury list for the game, read 26 October 2026 at 13:03 UTC, has Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Moses Moody (knee) out for Golden State, with Gui Santos (knee), Brandon Williams (back) and Charles Bassey (knee) day-to-day. Denver has Spencer Jones (hamstring) and Julian Strawther (knee) out, with Alpha Diallo (wrist) and Cameron Johnson (ankle) day-to-day. The NBA has no key-player rule in our method, so the list does not change the number. Check the lineups before you bet.
Our number still gives Golden State a 65.9% chance of losing. The case is that +235 pays more than that risk is worth on last season’s evidence.
The total and the spread
The total is 236.5, over -108 and under -112. The Nuggets’ home games went over 236.5 in 18 of 41, the Warriors’ road games in 12 of 41. Denver’s home games averaged 236.0 points, Golden State’s road games 226.6.
That is 43.9% and 29.3%, an average of 36.6% for the over. With the margin removed the over is priced at 49.6% and the under at 50.4%, so our count leans to the under by 13.0 points. Our method stakes the moneyline only, so this is a lean, not a bet.
The spread is Nuggets -7.5 at -112 and Warriors +7.5 at -108, unchanged from the opening line. Denver’s home games beat that line in 15 of 41. Golden State’s road games beat it in 28 of 41. Averaged, Nuggets -7.5 lands 34.1% of the time against 50.4% priced, a gap of 16.3 points toward Warriors +7.5. That is a lean on the same side. One bet on this game: the Warriors at +235.
