The 2025-26 College Football season is really starting to get interesting. The top three teams in the country – Ohio State, Indiana, and Texas A&M – all remained unbeaten with victories in Week 12.
Ohio State hosts Rutgers (5-5) and Texas A&M entertains FCS Samford on Saturday. The Hoosiers get a week off before their season finale at Purdue on Nov. 28. The Buckeyes will most likely face Indiana in the Big Ten championship game. Both teams are unbeaten in conference play.
The next CFP rankings will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and there will be a bit of a shake up. In the latest AP poll, Oklahoma moved up to No. 8 after beating previously ranked No. 4 Alabama. The Crimson Tide dropped to No. 10 in the AP poll.
We get three more ranked-versus-ranked games this week too. These games will have an impact on the postseason. Here are this week’s matchups of ranked opponents:
- No. 17 USC @ No. 8 Oregon
- No. 22 Pittsburgh @ No. 16 Georgia Tech
- No. 12 BYU @ No. 25 Cincinnati
The results of these games will most definitely have an impact on the 2025 College Football Playoffs. As mentioned, the latest College Football Playoff rankings will be out this Tuesday. Ohio State, Indiana, and Texas A&M will remain Nos. 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
These final weeks of the regular season are super important. Teams with their eyes on a conference championship or a berth in the playoffs cannot afford an upset loss at this point in the season.
As we get into these final weeks of the regular season, be sure you are checking ScoresandStats on a daily basis from now until the college football national championship game. Our NCAAF experts will continue to provide inside analysis, free picks, game predictions, and more!

College Football Week 13 Odds
Keep an eye on the latest College Football odds from the top online betting sites and monitor how the lines change throughout the week.
This is typically the week where SEC teams play a non-conference game. Often, the SEC team will host an FCS team which is the case in Samford’s trip to College Station to take on No. 3 Texas A&M. That game could have this week’s largest point spread, but it has not yet been released.
As of this writing, the largest spread on the board is currently Charlotte playing at Georgia. The Bulldogs are the No. 5 team in the country. Charlotte has one win this season and it came against an FCS team. Georgia is favored by 44.5 points.
The largest total on the board this week belongs to the South Florida-UAB game. The Bulls are electric on offense and UAB can’t stop anyone. The game total is currently 69.5.
At the other end, we have a pair of Big Ten games on Saturday that should be late-season battles. Illinois and Wisconsin are both pretty good defensively and when the two teams meet, it’s typically a low-scoring slugfest. The same is true of Minnesota and Northwestern, two very good defensive teams that love to run the football. The game total for both of those games is 40.5.

College Football Week 13 Predictions
Let’s take a look at the featured College Football Week 13 games and make our NCAAF picks for each game.
Louisville Cardinals @ SMU Mustangs Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Louisville Cardinals | +114 | +2.5( -105) | O 52.5 (-112) |
| SMU Mustangs | -135 | -2.5 (-115) | U 52.5 (-108) |
This is a crucial game in the race for the ACC title. SMU is hoping to get back to the ACC championship game. The Mustangs are 5-1 just like three other ACC teams – Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Pittsburgh. A win keeps the Mustangs alive.
Louisville is 4-3 in conference play and is not mathematically eliminated from ACC championship contention, but it will be nearly impossible for the Cardinals to get there. Regardless, they can ruin SMU’s chances with a win on Saturday.
The two programs have only met three times throughout college football history. One of those was last year and SMU won that game 34-27. That win gave the Mustangs a perfect 3-0 record against Louisville all-time. SMU was a 7-point underdog entering that game last year.
Louisville Cardinals @ SMU Mustangs Predictions
The Cardinals played for an ACC title in Brohm’s first season in 2023. They would like to prevent SMU from getting there this year. Louisville has lost two straight tough ones. The Cardinals dropped a 29-26 decision to Cal and then lost by one, 20-19, to Clemson last week. Both losses were at home.
SMU has five wins in its last six games. The only loss was a 13-12 defeat at Wake Forest. The Mustangs have one of the top passing offenses (284.5 ypg, 18th) in the nation. This game will come down to whether or not the Mustangs can have success against Louisville’s defense.
The Cardinals rank in the top 30 against the run (109.9 ypg, 23rd) and the pass (188 ypg, 26th) and only allow 21.5 points per game. Louisville will then have to find a way to put points on the board. The offense managed just 19 points last week.
SMU’s pass defense is one of the worst in the nation. QB Miller Moss needs to have a big day for the Cardinals. Moss and the Cardinals average 243.3 passing yards per game. SMU’s pass defense ranks 135th out of 136 teams in the FBS.
Still, the Mustangs are favored for a reason. They are at home and they are the hotter teams right now. They will push the pace and outduel the Cardinals on their home turf.
Bet: SMU -135, SMU -2.5 (-115), Over 52.5 (-112)
Missouri Tigers @ Oklahoma Sooners Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Missouri Tigers | +235 | +7.5 (-112) | O 42.5 (-110) |
| Oklahoma Sooners | -290 | -7.5 (-108) | U 42.5 (-110) |
This old Big Eight Conference rivalry rekindled last year when Oklahoma became a full-time member of the SEC. It was the first time in 13 years the two teams met and it was a doozy. Oklahoma led most of the game until Missouri scored 14 points in the final 1:05 to grab a 30-23 victory.
The Sooners hold the lead in the series, 67-25-5. Oklahoma has won 20 of the last 23 meetings, though Missouri has won two of the last three. All three Missouri wins came at home in Columbia. Prior to last year’s win, the last time Missouri beat Oklahoma was in 2010.
Missouri Tigers @ Oklahoma Sooners Predictions
It’s been difficult for the Tigers lately as they have had to navigate on offense without QB Beau Pribula. Matt Zollers has filled in for Pribula and he played well last week. Zollers went 8-for-15 for 112 yards and two touchdowns as Missouri beat Mississippi State.
What the Tigers have leaned on is RB Ahmad Hardy, who leads the nation in rushing with 1,346 yards. In the win over the Bulldogs last week, Hardy had 300 yards on 25 carries and he rushed for three touchdowns.
Oklahoma has one of the best run defenses in college football. The Sooners rank fourth in the country against the run, giving up just 82.2 yards per game. They are eighth in scoring defense, allowing 14.8 points per game. The Sooners held a very good Alabama offense to just 80 rushing yards and 21 points in a win last week.
What many might not realize is that Missouri is also one of the nation’s best defenses. The Tigers rank in the top-20 against the run (17th) and the pass (15th). Missouri allows 19.9 points per game, which ranks 26th in the FBS.
Last year, Oklahoma was a 3-point road favorite. This year, the Sooners are 7.5-point home favorites with the exact same game total. After that impressive win over Alabama, expect more of the same from Oklahoma.
Bet: ML pass, Oklahoma -7 (-125), Under 42.5 (-110)
Arkansas Razorbacks @ Texas Longhorns Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arkansas Razorbacks | +270 | +9.5 (-110) | O 57.5 (-105) |
| Texas Longhorns | -340 | -9.5 (-110) | U 57.5 (-115) |
These two long-time Southwest Conference rivals have rekindled their rivalry in the SEC. Last season, the two teams met in Fayetteville and the Longhorns, ranked No. 3 in the nation at the time, won 20-10.
The Longhorns came into the season as one of the favorites to win the SEC title. Those hopes were gone when they lost to Florida in early October and then got drilled last week 35-10 by Georgia.
Arkansas went 8-5 ATS last season, but won their first two games this year and then haven’t won since. Head coach Sam Pittman was fired along the way and the Razorbacks are in the market for a new head coach.
These two teams have played 80 times. Texas leads the series 57-23. While the Longhorns won last season, the Razorbacks have won two of the last three meetings.
Arkansas Razorbacks @ Texas Longhorns Predictions
It’s hard to beat Texas in Austin. Since the start of the 2021 season, the Longhorns are 27-5 at home. Since Arkansas left the SWC in 1991, the Razorbacks have won in Austin just once. That was back in 2003.
The Longhorns were favored by 13.5 on the road at Arkansas last year. Arch Manning has had his ups and downs in his first season as the Longhorns starter. He should have a much easier time this week than last. Georgia held Texas to 274 total yards and 10 points.
Arkansas doesn’t stop anyone. The Razorbacks defense ranks in the bottom-30 versus the run, the pass, and in scoring defense. Arkansas allows 32.3 points per game and the Razorbacks have allowed 30-plus points in seven of their nine games this season. They have yet to win a road game this season.
Bet: ML pass, Texas -9.5 (-110), Under 57.5 (-115)
USC Trojans @ Oregon Ducks Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| USC Trojans | +295 | +9.5 (-108) | O 59.5 (-108) |
| Oregon Ducks | -375 | -9.5 (-112) | U 59.5 (-112) |
This series goes all the way back to 1915. USC leads the series with a 38-23-2 overall record, but the Ducks have owned the Trojans recently. Oregon has won the last three meetings and five of the last six.
Oregon won the last meeting in Eugene in 2023. The Ducks won 36-27. Oregon has won four straight and is now ranked No. 8 in the nation. USC has won three straight and has just one loss in the Big Ten. The Trojans still have an outside shot at the College Football Playoff.
USC Trojans @ Oregon Ducks Predictions
Dante Moore and the Oregon offense are rolling. The Ducks average 39 points a game. One could say the same about Jayden Maiava and USC. The Trojans are also a top-10 scoring team, averaging 38.2 points per game.
When USC played elite defenses like Notre Dame and Nebraska, the Trojans struggled. They had their two lowest offensive outputs of the season – 24 and 21 points. Oregon’s defense is better than both ND and Nebraska. Oregon allows just 13.7 points per game, sixth in the nation.
Oregon is 19-1 in its last 20 games at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. USC is 8-2 this season. Both of those losses came on the road. There is a reason why the Ducks are double-digit home favorites.
Bet: ML pass, Oregon -9.5 (-112), Under 59.5 (-112)
Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Penn State Nittany Lions Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nebraska Cornhuskers | +230 | +9.5 (-108) | O 43.5 (-118) |
| Penn State Nittany Lions | -355 | -9.5 (-112) | U 43.5 (-102) |
Year 3 of the Matt Rhule era at Nebraska started strong as the Cornhuskers got off to a 5-1 start. The Huskers have gone 2-2 since and lost starting QB Dylan Raiola for the season. Backup TJ Lateef did lead Nebraska to a 28-21 win over UCLA last week.
Penn State has had its share of troubles too. James Franklin was fired after three straight midseason losses. Rhule, a Penn State alum, is rumored to be one of the top candidates for the job in Happy Valley.
These two schools have played each other a total of 18 times. Nebraska has won 10 times and they won the most recent game in 2020. The Huskers won 30-23 in Lincoln. The last time the team played in Happy Valley was in 2017. Penn State had running back Saquon Barkley who had 204 total yards and three touchdowns in a 56-44 Nittany Lions victory.
Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Penn State Nittany Lions Predictions
The Nittany Lions lost six straight before finally getting back on the right side of things with a win over Michigan State last week. The Penn State defense, with the exception of Ohio State, has kept the Nittany Lions in games since Franklin’s firing.
PSU lost by one in consecutive weeks to Northwestern and Iowa. The Nittany Lions gave No. 2 Indiana all they could handle in a 27-24 loss, and there were a pair of one score losses to Oregon (30-24) and UCLA (42-37).
Penn State started the season as a Big Ten and national championship contender. The Nittany Lions then started that losing streak that led to Franklin’s dismissal. They too, like Nebraska, lost their starting quarterback Drew Allar to a season-ending injury.
That said, the Nittany Lions are 9.5-point home favorites. They were favored by seven last week in that win against Michigan State. It was the first time Penn State was favored in over a month. They won easily. Against a backup quarterback, the Nittany Lions defense and running game should be able to get this win.
Bet: ML pass, Penn State -9.5 (-112), Over 43.5 (-118)
Tennessee Volunteers @ Florida Gators Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tennessee Volunteers | -198 | -4.5 (-108) | O 57.5 (-108) |
| Florida Gators | +164 | +4.5 (-112) | U 57.5 (-112) |
Joey Aguilar has been right at home in Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel’s offense. He has thrown for 2,941 yards and 22 touchdowns this season. The Vols are 7-3 overall with all three losses coming against ranked SEC opponents.
The “Third Saturday in September” is a little late this year, but it’s still a huge SEC rivalry. Florida leads the series 32-22, but the Vols have won two of the last three games in the series. However, both of those games were played in Knoxville.
The Gators have fallen on hard times. They started the season 3-4 and head coach Billy Napier was fired. Things haven’t gotten much better. Florida has lost three straight. The Gators have not lost to Tennessee in Gainesville since 2003. Since 2005, Florida has won 17 of the last 20 against Tennessee.
Tennessee Volunteers @ Florida Gators Predictions
Tennessee recovered from its home loss to Oklahoma with a 42-9 beatdown of New Mexico State. The Vols offense continues to roll up the points. They are No. 2 in the country in scoring, averaging 43.4 points per game.
Aguilar and the passing game are tough to stop. Even against Oklahoma, one of the best defenses in the country, Aguilar and the Vols threw for 393 yards. Florida is normally a pretty stout defense, but they do give up over 223 passing yards per game. The Gators gave up 301 passing yards in a loss to Ole Miss last week.
It is a home game, but the Gators have just been awful no matter where they’ve played. QB DJ Lagway has regressed all season and the Florida offense will have a hard time keeping up with the Vols.
Tennessee will do most of the work, but the last two game totals closed in the 55.5 to 56.5 range. This total is already at 57.5 after opening at 55.5. The Gators should be able to do enough to help push this total Over.
Bet: Tennessee -198, Tennessee -4.5 (-108), Over 57.5 (-108)
BYU Cougars @ Cincinnati Bearcats Odds
| Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| BYU Cougars | -135 | -2.5 (-110) | O 54.5 (-110) |
| Cincinnati Bearcats | +114 | +2.5 (-110) | U 54.5 (-110) |
This is a huge game in the Big 12 conference. BYU has one conference loss and controls its own destiny as far as making the conference title game. Cincinnati still has an outside shot of making the conference championship game but needs help to get there.
These two teams have only played each other three times. All three meetings have taken place since 2015. BYU has won all three games. The most recent was in 2023. BYU won in Provo as a 1-point favorite. The Cougars ran for just 70 yards and threw for 225 while the Bearcats rolled up 495 total yards but lost 35-27.
BYU Cougars @ Cincinnati Bearcats Predictions
BYU bounced back from its lone loss of the season (to Texas Tech) with a big 44-13 win over TCU last week. Now, they have to go on the road to Cincinnati. The Bearcats were on a roll, winning seven straight before dropping their last two games.
Last week, Cincy turned the ball over twice and had the ball less than 24 minutes in a loss to Arizona. BYU is one of the top rushing teams in the nation (23rd, 195.1 ypg) and controls the ball for nearly 33 minutes a game. If the Cougars are able to keep the ball away from Brendan Sorsby and the Cincinnati offense, the Bearcats are in trouble.
Cincinnati can put up points just like the Cougars, but the Bearcats defense was pretty solid. In the last two weeks, Cincy has allowed 475 and 480 total yards and 75 combined points. If the Bearcats don’t fix that, they are also in trouble.
BYU is favored for a reason. They were also favored on the road by 2.5 at Arizona. The Cougars won that game 33-27. Cincinnati was a home underdog just once. That was in the very first game of the season. The Bearcats lost to Nebraska. They won five straight before the loss to Arizona at home last week.
The game total opened at 53.5 and has already been bet up to 54.5. Look for it to rise even more before game time. Expect points in this one.
Bet: BYU -135, BYU -2.5 (-110), Over 54.5 (-110)
Best College Football Week 13 Bets
Here are our favorite College Football bets for Week 13:
- Missouri Tigers @ Oklahoma Sooners -7 (-125)
- Arkansas Razorbacks @ Texas Longhorns Under 57.5 (-115)
- Tennessee Volunteers -4.5 (-108) @ Florida Gators
Oklahoma pulled off a huge upset last week when they knocked off No. 4 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Sooners go back home and all the talking heads will be talking about a let-down spot.
Brent Venabless will have his team ready to roll as they continue their quest for a playoff berth. The Sooners defense will be all over Missouri’s backup quarterback (who started the season No. 3). Defense wins games and Oklahoma’s is one of the best.
Don’t let Arkansas’s lack of defense fool you. Texas has one of the best defensive units in the country. The Razorbacks will have a difficult time against the Longhorns. Arch Manning and Texas will do most of the work in this one, but the total won’t get Over 57.5.
Florida is at home, but the Gators have essentially packed it in for the season. They are 3-7 SU and a win here would help soothe fans, but beating a Tennessee offense that scores over 43 points a game is going to be too much. Florida’s offense just won’t be able to keep up.
