Army Black Knights

College FootballNext: vs Tulane, Sat3 predictions

Upcoming games

The Black Knights did not cover a single home game in 2025, 0 for 5, and covered five of six on the road. That split is where our Army football predictions start.

Two records against the spread

Army finished 2025 at 6-6, and 6-6 against the spread, an even line that hides a split. At home the Black Knights went 0-5 against the number; no other FBS team failed to cover every home game. Away they went 5-1, and only five FBS teams covered a higher share on the road, with one more level.

The home misses were not all big lines. Army lost outright to Tarleton State, 27-30 at -600, and fell 25-26 to Tulsa as a 9.5-point favorite. Wins of 24-7 over Charlotte at -17.5 and 14-13 over Temple at -7.5 still came up short.

Where the money was

On the road the price paid. One unit on Army to win in each of its six away games returned 6.8 units; only two FBS teams made more backing their side away from home. The big one came at Kansas State: 24-21 at +500 as a 16.5-point underdog. A 27-24 win at UTSA at +250 closed November. Every one of the 12 games carried a price, and the season closed 3.25 units up even though the five home games lost 2.54.
