The big numbers

Two home games carried spreads near 30 points: Campbell at -30.5 and Charlotte at -29.5. East Carolina won both, 56-3 and 48-22, and covered only the first. October was the one month without a cover: the loss at Tulane and a 41-27 win over Tulsa as 16.5-point favorites.
