On the road

Away from home Eastern Kentucky went 3-13 and lost 9.72 units in the 15 priced road games. Upsets were scarce. A 62-59 win at Jacksonville State on 17 December at +114 was the only time all season they won a game priced at plus money, in 16 such games.

The ASUN

Lipscomb beat them twice and covered both times, and Austin Peay and Queens also took both meetings. Bellarmine went the other way, two Eastern Kentucky wins and two covers. Stetson lost 100-88 at Eastern Kentucky on 7 February, then won 92-76 in the ASUN tournament with the Colonels favored by 5.5.

The total

This is where the numbers lean. Nineteen of the 29 totals went over, 65.5%, a rate just 14 Division I teams exceeded and one equalled. The Colonels allowed 81.84 points a game; 17 teams allowed more.
