Syracuse Orange

The Orange lost their last six games of 2025-26 and covered none of them, from a 64-101 loss at Duke to a 69-86 ACC tournament exit against SMU. Our Syracuse predictions are above; how the season got there is below.

How the season ended

From 16 February on, Syracuse played six, lost six and missed the spread six times. Two of those were home games as favorites: 64-77 to North Carolina at -142 and 69-71 to Pittsburgh at -265. The run closed with a 69-86 loss to SMU in the ACC tournament first round.

Over all 32 games the record was 15-17, and the Orange covered 14. The other losing streak came in November: three games in three days at the Players Era Festival, all lost, to Houston, Kansas and Iowa State. Only the Houston game, 74-78 getting 14.5, was covered; Iowa State won 95-64.

Big numbers at home

December was spent laying large spreads in Syracuse’s own building. Five home games as favorites of 9.5 points or more produced four wins and one cover, against Stonehill. The loss was 69-70 to Hofstra at -520.

At home the season count was 12-6 straight up and 8 covers in 18; on the road it was 2-7.

Syracuse as an underdog

The Orange were underdogs 15 times, won three and covered six. Only 45 teams covered a lower share getting points. One unit on each of those 15 moneylines lost 6.86; the best of the three wins was 62-60 over Tennessee at +295.

Across all 32 priced games, backing Syracuse to win lost 9.63 units; only 52 teams lost more.
