January was the best month against the spread, six covers in nine, including a 77-60 win at Kansas City laying 4.5, in the same month that Kansas City had won at Omaha. February added three straight covered wins, over St. Thomas, Denver and Oral Roberts, before an 89-72 loss at South Dakota and a 68-53 loss at St. Thomas getting 11.5 closed the regular schedule.
